Hi, Cinnamon! I wanted to tell you how much your videos still help me. I've followed you for over 2 years. I got started painting seriously with your videos. I am currently painting my first ever paid commission painting (😁!), and it is a lake scene; Lake Tahoe. There's sky, clouds, distant mountains, some snow-capped, and ROCKS. OY. So many rocks. Above water. Below water. BIG rocks. Little rocks. Such a challenge. I've painted this river video you did a year and a half ago, but even now I'm still going back to it to refresh my memory on the techniques, brushes, colors, showing water movement. You are a Godsend, fair lady. I'm on a new journey at the age of 60 that I never expected. It's never too late, and you're never too old to try something new. I just wanted you to know. Thank you!

What a beautiful evergreen!!!! As you were tapping your way down; the spaces between the branches and the twigs created their own set of lighter values and it just came together so beautifully. I hope that tree lives in me somewhere, lol.

@@TammieGrayson-qj9vh You'll get there! I did Acrylic April last year. I usually do it in the summer since I have school in the spring and It is hard to do the paintings everyday! The Sherpa really is amazing, isn't she?!
Would the branches have the same effect as the brush using a paint pen?

Why do you use more white in the mix when doing the river reflection?
The reflections often are a shade or two lighter
