- Speculation is mounting that the former National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula will hand herself over to the police. She resigned yesterday as National Assembly Speaker and Member of Parliament.
Mapisa-Nqakula said in her resignation letter that the resignation was not an admission of guilt regarding the corruption allegations against her.
The High Court in Pretoria recently struck off the roll her urgent application to interdict police from arresting her.
Last month, the National Prosecuting Authority raided her home in Johannesburg. For more on these developments, we cross live to SABC News Reporter Chriselda Lewis.
She is outside the former Speaker's home in Johannesburg.

There is justice in South Africa. The wheels move slow but they do move, Selebi, Ntlemeza, Zuma, Magashule, Brian Molefe and now the Speaker of Parliament. Perhaps we want accountability to come sooner but it does come eventually.
Also, she was not alone so I suggest she starts making videos to publish if any "accident" happens to her so that we know who is in the gang. Those who don't want to be exposed will commend her and not at all speak any negative word against her because they need to keep her feeling supported and protected so she doesn't show receipts. Well... I'm assuming she was smart enough to gather and store evidence against her gang members.
