I feel I can trust them to work and take work seriously.
I remember how the municipality where my mom used to work looked to me at 13, 2006.
The men that worked there was respected by the people whom also worked there. Everyone worked, everyone was neat and professional, everything worked, I saw that office building as a place where serious work was done, and serious people work there. That municipality is Moer toe today. MOERTOE!! (Lewka Municipality Standerton)

Working railways, SAL, Eskom, healthcare, etc, etc.....one problem, SA would have been completely flooded with people from up north - the same thing that is happening now in the US. I am pro-WC independence, but the place will prosper immediately and lure millions of unqualified job seekers while it needs a lot of qualified people as well....maybe there will be a reverse emmigration.

Oh nonsense man. Oom Corne supports Cape Exit. There is everything racist about that whole movement.
Watch both the DA and FFPLUS both push more aggressively for Cape Exit after getting smacked in the upcoming elections.
You heard it from me first.

Cape independence is a push for federalism (think the USA), if the Cape wants the death penalty then they won't need to ask Pretoria for permission, they can go ahead and enact their own laws. However they can't print their own money or declare their own wars against other countries because that decision is made in Pretoria. So it's independence from the union buildings, it's not drawing new borders for the country, I don't know if that makes sense?

Well, you vote for a corruption and stealing then blame everyone. People of the Western cape is tried of all this racist corruption that is supported by the people.
You call it apartheid when you force racist laws on all the other races. Even though there are more wealth black people in south Africa than any other race.

I do not know about “voting correctly” nor whether such a concept exists in the current political climate.I will definitely not be voting FF+ ( given their history) but it does make more sense than allowing Shivambu as finance minister in EFF-ANC coalition. 😢( It is a near certainty that ANC will be looking for coalition partners so that they can loot some more.)

This is an interesting period and the technicalities involved in electing the executive is becoming more complex. Thank you for simplifying things. By this time 15 by years from now the system would've probably evolved to us being able to do away with party politics as well as proportional representation. The system has to be inclusive therefore individual candidates selected by constituencies will be the more stable option. I can't wait to finally witness the change. Thanks Dr Sizwe🙏🏽.
