Yay for the T'au, and another 40k game I never knew existed. Thanks for showing it off.
It looks pretty good, but seems very expensive though.
It’s pretty darn good.
@@LyricalDJ CDkeys you can get it for 6 quid
@@LyricalDJ I got it for less than 30 bucks
Would've preferred Imperial Guard, personally - especially if the developers went down a similar route as with Space Marine Chapters, by having different Guard regiments, like Cadians, Valhallans, Catachans, Elysians etc.
Eldar would also be somewhat interesting - at least as a target for my Baneblades 😅
A map and campaign builder will also go be released on the 15th
Oh boy. I've been umming an Uhhing over getting this game for some time now, but I think this news just sealed the deal. Just in time for Uni break :D
Interesting how overwatch functions in this game. It feels kind of weird at first but I like the tactical consideration of choosing the range - do you go for optimal range or for longer range giving you greater odds of having overwatch trigger.
A pet peeve I have is that some of the weapons have the wrong model. But that's just a minor thing. Cool to see the Tau in the game! :)
Ah, Janet losing his Breachers live on camera. Quality content as always.
Love these videos! Thank you for putting in the work so we can enjoy them.
Was a Tau player from the time they were released. I can’t wait for a strategy game that I can use them and have fun again
Great! Looking forward to following this....
Yeaaaaah ! Love this game ❤
Didn't knew they were releasing Tau.
has multiplayer gotten better i cant wait for more factions
dude no way.... I was wondering for the next army just today hahahaha
I played this exact same setup yesterday, completely annihilated the orks in 3 or 4 turns, but the necrons put up more of a fight, especially because they just teleported in a bunch of flayed ones directly into my lines
I do love the Tau
Ohhhh, I didn't know this was coming out.I still want some more variety in my imperium factions but I do like me some tau
It makes me so sad that they won’t make more campaigns for this game.
I really don’t care about plotless or sandbox stuff.
And the base game is so much fun.
At least give us a scenario editor so fans can make their own campaigns.
@@mercerholt8299 Not the same with a well story written/acted that you can follow.
@JANLIU83 True, but at the same time you'd he surprised what people can cook up despite limitations.
love some stompy boys, can't go wrong with battlesuits
Don't feel bad about taking two riptides! Most tau players take 3! 😄
Tau players that know what they're doing take none. There's better and Riptide is too much.
I am curious just how this game plays without the DLC.... it looks pretty interesting.
It plays pretty well, the base game variety isn’t lacking in any way, and the dlc just adds options.
Which is the best way to do it
@@vyst8132 I got it and the Tau DLC just a day ago. The campaign voice acting is solid and it feels like a tabletop 40k experience so far.
I just discovered there's an Orc DLC for this game...There's T'au one coming too?
Yeah, tomorrow
Need a how to play videos from you :)
is there still just blood angels campaign?
Wait there are Tau now? Did they add Imperial Guard when I wasn't looking?
Also Tau now brown cow
The Tau are from the new DLC that released just a few days ago. No IG yet, sadly.
Yep
Gosh your entertaining
Wish they'd replace this bizzare "Planetary Supremacy" mode with a proper sandbox mode like Gladius.
Battles ==> Battlesector.
Campaign ===> Gladius.
Yeah, Battlesector has more involved combat, but Gladius feels like the most complete package out of the WH40K strategy games outside of DoW1.
I wonder when the first aeldari factions will come to battlesector. In 2030 possibly?
what is this game? from 2021? never heard of it
comment for the comment god!

Is it paid dlc or free ?.
Paid 20 bucks pretty dear imo

I've personally (and it is just my opinion) found the Tau to just be too op compared to the other races. The amount of fire power, their drones, their armoured battlesuits and the fact they came later to the game make them so much superior to the Space Marines etc. Horde armies like the Tyranids, Orks even the Imperial Guard, unless there is a lot of terrain, just get massacred by the firepower the Tau can bring to bear. Admittedly their standard infantry are squishy but even they put out a decent amount of accurate fire. Great to see a new race being added but I feel, with your skill, this is quickly going to be a walk over unless they have a lot of capture the area scenarios forcing you to close with your opponent.
As reference it was the TAU that made me give up playing 40K. They would just sit in their defensive position (regardless of the objective of the scenario) and just let rip. Naturally my opponents always went for the least amount of terrain when we played. Competition was better but back then even in the Cons the amount of terrain available back in the 2000s wasn't what it is in more recent decades.
Yeah no they are not OP. Necrons are OP and Tau are squishy as hell with no healing options.
I have felt the opposite, playing on the highest difficulty. They have several early problems: their starting army is massively overpriced (crisis suits and the riptide are amongst the most overpriced stuff on their roster), they have no way to tie up ranged units in melee, you can lose squads that weren't even inside vision range in the first few maps, particularly against flash gits and lootas), and they are insanely vulnerable to the skullcannon, as they cannot tie it up in melee and it's a 130 point unit that can almost one shot, and easily two shot, basically any infantry unit within 8 tiles regardless of if it can see you or not. I also am not sure it even requires line of sight.
The lack of a melee unit REALLY holds them back as melee is insanely powerful in this game, and no pistols that I can make out is also a big deal (I think the fusion blasters may count as pistols, but you really can't play mass stealth suits anyways, as they have a recruitment cooldown of 2). you get decent attacks, but you don't get much versatilty or ability to shut down your opponent's game plan.
And they really lack much in the way of scouting, as the pirahna isn't terrible, but it only has default vision, no abilities, and 6 move. This is not exactly a land speeder quality scout.
They have some insane units, for sure (flamer commander, fusion blaster stealth suits, the ghostkeel as one of onyl 2 melee units you can even field that also happens to be cheap, durable, and invisible 40% of the time). But they really have no way to stop their opponents from running their own game plan, which is a problem for a faction with no healing.
Oh god, the riptide. I like the T'au, but really am not a fan of the "newer" battlesuit. Anything outside roughly cirsis size kinda rubs me wrong. Imho for bigger stuff the hover-tank gunship thingies make more sense. The "smaller" suits are cool though...
Also, why tf are firewarriors armed with pulse CARBINES per default?
Btw, the breacher armor is a bit different, a more bulky version of fire warrior armor. Not that it makes much of a difference at this scale.
Aw, can you not paint your dudes in this 40k game? Sad face!
I HATE the primaris
