I like this - fundamentally solid. Like you I hope for more story lines to really make the most of the lore; an early game to introduce the unique features of your faction and a late game one for each faction to really take each playthrough in different directions.

I do like unbreaking units, they're great for holding the line, you can always count on them. But I do get your issue with them. It would not be a problem if the "withdraw"-button actually worked and was active in every battle - even battles you could not retreat from. Now if you press "withdraw", they only run until they're attacked, or their morale is back. If I tell a unit to withdraw, they should withdraw all the way.

Almost at the end...Gooood stuffff.

im surprised you didnt have a lord recruting cavalry in the haunted forest just to refit orion's outfit, i know they wouldnt be high tiered so wouldn't be as powerful but being able to habe a full army would be good

With the weak wood elf replenishment, the “stow the crown” option saved my campaign. +10% replenishment more than doubled what some of my armies were already getting. Plus “replenish in enemy territories” made it way easier to raze territories for the cash.

would you consider not ending the campaign and continuing till you restore the other forests as well ? this has been a very fun campaign to watch, would love more of it

9:35 Meat harvest was nerfed to give 10 points towards the next population growth, instead of just plus one population. Same great taste, but now less filling.

How much fun you're having directly translates to how much fun it is to watch, so go for it.

This game is a lot of fun.

I can say with fair certainy that outriders with grenades are a rather nice edition to an Orion cavalry stack. Unless you're one of the enemies.

So the Nemesis Crown is basically a lesser version of the Archmage's hat from Discworld?

I'm certain that I got a nemesis crown that gave a bonus to DE relations, is that just a High elf thing? because they are getting corrupted?

Very nice progress.

It sort of looks like it's calculating your increase, capping it at 100, and *then* applying the penalty for the crown, guaranteeing that unless you get those battles you're craving, none of your forests will be able to max out.

Dying from the plague is quite a valid cause of death from history, as you well know. Sad, though. Sorry about your loss.

I think most of your concerns with AI diplomacy have been addressed in the latest demo update. So hopefully zephon won't be so quick to break all of his deals with you next time. And it looks like you've turned the corner this episode 👍
