The primary genre of songs that I listen to are either WW folk songs or songs composed by The Red Army Choir. Even my friends started calling me "Communist" and "Russia ka c****" sarcastically. Idk how to convince anyone that it's all about the music and not the ideology or lyrics we enjoy. Other songs like Farewell of Slavianka or Katyusha give a feel altogether on a different level.

This song is about the Crimean offensive of 1920, the final major battle of the Russian Civil War between the Red Army (We all know what that is) and the White Army (A loose knit force of anti-communists formed to oppose the Bolshevik Revolution) The premise of the song is that even though the White Army is still in the field in 1920, the Red Army controls the most territory and is therefore the strongest. Basically it’s the Communist equivalent of a boastful dis track.
