The shock I had while hearing about this on-going ordeal with your boss! The nerve of him and how disrespectful! I’m so disgusted. I feel like it should be some sort of law against this! This is discrimination! Please please do not stress or worry about him. You relax and focus on yourself so you can be ok for your baby. That job will be there and that stupid boss will be ok. If he’s not ok then he will have to figure it out on his own. Tell him you are taking the minimum six weeks and then you will return a few days a week or however you feel up to it and if he don’t like it he can kick rocks! I’m sorry you are going through this. No woman deserves any of this. 😡

Thank you! ♥️ This is the absolute best advice! I actually just came home yesterday from the hospital. Baby boy is here🙌🏽 Just looking at him and the way I feel… I will definitely be focusing on my happiness and well being. The job isn’t worth it

This has gone past being unreasonable. You should speak to a lawyer regarding your rights even as a contractor and negotiate your exit. Plans and goals can be adjusted but your peace of mind as you prep for labor is paramount. You'll never guilt that man into acting right so make his pockets hurt so he won't repeat this behavior with the next person.

It’s a shame to even go through the hassle of having to do all that. I’m going to see how it plays out and decide from there. Either way you’re right my peace of mind is more important

New to your channel, listening to many of your videos. I’m so sorry you were treated that way from your boss! That boss should be careful, there are a whole lot of laws protecting new moms! I know this video is older, but your story made me very mad at your boss!🤬

You know what it all worked out in the end! I’m going to do a story update soon but I have heard from so many women telling their horror stories on how they were treated when they had a baby. It’s really sad

Girl I feel like what your manager is saying is highly illegal. You can be a working mom but the first 2 years I'd stay put. I had to teach the first 2 years of my sons life and I hated it. I went back to a job that turned remote and it's so much better.

How much maternity leave do they get in China or India? Anyone know?

Not sure but my friends in Japan had 1 year

@@SAlina-se9xq ok, but that’s not where the jobs are going. My hunch is they get little to none in China or India, which is why the jobs are going there.
