- Zylbrad was once one of the biggest let's play apex legends youtubers that everyone knew and loved. Some of his fans knew him from back in his Overwatch days when he played with creators such as Muselk, Loserfruit, BazzaGazza, and Vikkstar. But nonetheless in 2024, his views on youtube is at an all time low despite the fact that he uploads everyday, WHY? In this video I explain everything!

He used to drop a video every morning during 2019 Apex. I watched it everytime before school stopped watching him after a year. Got annoyed to his voice
I was similar with his content. I didnt get annoyed with him, i was just more interested in the movement scene which around the time i stopped watching him was just really starting to blow up
I just got tired of the voice and same content. Good CZcamsr tho.
I feel that Zylbrad fell along Apex. And people just forgot him when they left Apex. He's still pretty funny, IMO he hasn't lost his touch. The Helldivers content Is actually good.
I hope one day I will reach the point of being able to “fall off”

Yeah but he's taken a lot of breaks and when you not uploading everyday week people will forget about him and I think that's what happened, I think people have just forgotten about him
@@exwolf6183 the algo changed. a sub doesn't mean that people will see your content anymore. it sucks for some old big channels but it is what it is

@@DARKNESSIE. To each their own, but I found First Spoken's narrator videos to be much more creative than Zylbrad's Let's Plays. Lord Spink and Beanbag might still be in a tier of their own though
Apex in general has fallen off. Views are way down. Player retention is way down. EA are a joke they don't care about their game ,only making money

It's a wide variety of things, honestly. While Apex/battle royales is definitely a big reason, his Overwatch community had left from that game dying out. Lots of drama behind the scenes as well, alongside his OW friends group, that stopped playing with him after all of the NFTs stuff, and how he looked down at people that hated NFTs (check SaltyPhish's podcast with him on it).
I don't blame that he felt the economy is going down the crapper, because that's sadly the truth. While obviously the NFT stuff didn't kill his fanbase as most of them didn't even know his stance on it, his drive on it, alongside when the NFTs hype started, and 99% of them are just scams, still affected his channel in other ways, such as collaborations with now ex-friends.

Helldivers 2 is a pretty hyped up and good game and the community for it loves watching content for it JackFrags and NeebsGaming upload it and get decent views but they a diversified and as someone else stated in these comments "laughing with friends" content is basically dead unless you are diverse with the games so sticking to 1 or 2 games will get stale for viewers and of course you'll "fall off"

I just don't think the "laughing with my group of friends" content is big anymore. Not in gaming.
It always devolves into people yelling over each other and trying to be comedic. It gets old when you're trying to make content every week.

Apex is getting old. Zylbrad is best of allstreamers which apex has. Only one i still watch. Better with max and todd tho.
Isolating Brad is honestly weird behavior. Especially since it definitely wasnt Brad who fell off, he tried and managed to milk a dead game for years, and then Apex got EVEN WORSE. His audience didn't lose interest in him. They lost interest in a horrible game that was only getting worse. Weird how you aint mentioning all the other view-drops for Apex CCs
Stupid take. He didn't upload anything for a long time because personal issues that had nothing to do with apex and people forgot about him, out of sight out of mind. You are just apex hater that tries to blame a game lol. Apex far from dead no matter how much u wish it be.
