Courage JD is a decent streamer at best. Nothing amazing. Solid content and skill. Whenever his ego arises, it’s cringe. Some people can do ego well. Some can’t. When he is humble and careless he is at his best. When he is cocky or angry, the content is lacking tbh.

Nick is a d2 at best. I've only hit masters 4 splits solo queuing and I've been playing since season zero. I've seen nick try to play rank solo and he has no idea about rotations and calling out and when to backpedal during bad situations. Gent and deeds only play with him for the clout on my mami.

This video makes me realize I’m not crazy, I’ve always felt some type of way about him back when I watched fortnite streamers like valky myth and Cizzorz and they would play with him it just looked like he tried TOO hard to be funny and was a bad fit for the type of humor from other streams but I didn’t know about his “drama” and how problematic he was now it all makes sense.

I watched Courage from his AW/Bo3 casting days up until the switch to Fortnite when it became apparent he was no longer the creator I wanted to watch. I respect the hustle and grind but hes far from what he used to be and thats the Courage I loved. Hes a lot more tame now, I admit.

I’ve watched a lot of your videos brother about so many people getting “canceled” or their “downfall”. NGL the majority of them are still doing them and doing well. TBH mostly all content creators if not all put on a persona for viewers and money. Just the world we live in. You for example I’m pretty sure you don’t use or have that same tone on a everyday basis. Your creating a persona which is entertaining and separates you from other content creators who literally make the same videos as you. Which there’s nothing wrong with it. I hope your content continues to grow and all the best. Videos like this I feel actually helps content creators like Courage to remain relevant by this free publicity. Theirs no such thing as bad publicity they say right. I just don’t like when actual scumbag content creators who shall remain nameless get this kind of attention that allows them to rebrand their online image but still remain a scumbag. Love your videos brother but seriously we as a community with some type of moral compass just need to purely ignore these evil scumbag content creators or every scumbag in the world. Solo queue grinds for a big creator are not even close to as hard as a random person doing it. Teammates you get half the time are stream snipers that want to help you and will listen to you if your a random your randoms all think they are better than you and will most likely run away the second they get cracked

I think ppl forget streamers and casters are ENTERTAINERS.. basically acting at certain times for their job. If him acting this way is keeping his community strong, why stop? It just sounds like he rubs people the wrong way… if you think he’s cringey, cool, but his viewers clearly love his personality. I’ve watched him from time to time, not really a fan but to have something to watch, dude begs his viewers to not donate if they’re not comfortable in their situation. He genuinely cares about his community from what I’ve seen his fans say.

Love your videos, I did not know much of his backstory like that, it's very interesting.
I'm newer to these online personalities, I began watching people play games online during the pandemic to get better at warzone, and oddly courage was maybe the first one I watched because he was on youtube. I agree with many points, his clickbait shit is nauseating. I still think he is incredibly entertaining and funny, I appreciate he actually tries to make his stream entertaining, but often takes it 3 steps too far.
I think this video is great, but kinda seems so forced to build up his story for apex pred of all things.
I remember when courage and many warzone people switched to apex, I was still all about warzone and had not really played apex (which now I am addicted to), but he was this huge streamer comparatively on warzone, regularly playing with the top names, then tanked his stream to play a less popular game he was actually having fun with. Ironically, the reason he was playing apex was the complete opposite premise of the video and more about he genuinely enjoyed the game and wasn't enjoying warzone, completely detrimental financially and for clicks and his viewership.
I think what got him 'cancelled' is apex for some reason its player base is INCREIDBLY salty and jealous of people that have teammates. They want to be extra recognized for what they go through in solo que, how everyone else has it so much easier, and they want to take down a peg anyone who can't do it on their own. If you're not doing the flashy faide shit, then you're a gold player. You need to be doing it the hardest way possible or it's not real. Which there is truth to sbmm fucks the average player, but they have this built up frustration and anger they take out on a situation like courage.
Nickmercs got railed through the gutters that in every shape and form he was carried in apex, he was even carried to pro league, then yesterday gets a first place in oversight, where it seems universally for the first time his grinding is being recognized as good.

Honestly everyone is in it for money and views, some are just better at hiding it than others. Without views, no one would be creating content for several years. They’re only famous because of views and money so it’s a bit silly getting cancelled or hating on someone for it. It’s the way the world works.

Had his streams on in the background for so long watched him grow even before all the money. i can tell you from my experience, he isn’t money hungry, dude is humble. he consistently tells people in stream as a reminder to not send money or donate if you don’t got it like that. he looks out for his fans and his audience. I’m an above average apex player (1.5) KD and I mostly play pubs solo. It takes time to get good at apex. So unless he dedicates time to it, his lack of performance isn’t a surprise.

8:40 i believe strongly with jack, if you put in the time and effort into something, then you can get it done, (well talk about how he "spend more time getting better at the game instead of chirpin" yes, if you play 1 - 2 hours a day you arnt going to hit pred and highly unlikely you'll hit higher then diamond, simply because its a non stop rp grind, if you make it to pred when your playing 1-2 hours a day you wont be able to keep up with the 10k rp needed to keep on gaining everyday as 2 hours isnt enough time to do so, if you have nothing to do but play games and your a content creator (jack / courage) all you do is play games and make content, as is why he can play all the time and keep his rp up and consistent, so everyone out there saying he got carried, yes, the first season he started playing, yes i believe he did myself, but at the same time, he has done it multiple times after and he deserves it

Courage is one of the most annoying, overrated streamers to ever blow up. How one Ninja raid led to him blowing up and having an insane career, I'll never understand. But good for him! Dude got an opportunity that whether deserved or not doesnt matter....he ran with it and it worked out well for him. As a caster he's great, as a streamer/gamer....not so much. Loved him during the Fortnite casting days, but it seemed like that all went to his head.
