Yes stated max torque is 450nm, little less than claimed by some of the opposition, however that max torque figure comes in at a lazy 1600rpm, it's not sweating, it's cruising. This Isuzu engine will be a serious long life proposition.
The vehicle is also 250kg lighter than competitors, completely nullifying his whole talk of "not enough torque". Placebo effect, methinks
Well, I have driven lots of these vehicles back to back so I can only go by a seat of the pants impression. Sorry if that’s too scientific for you.

I bought the new bt 50 trayback at Xmas time done around 8,000 Kim’s ,the poverty pack version ,really happy with the purchase,love the blind spot warning in the mirrors, hate the lane assist, hate the collision avoidance and the audible speed warning (when your speeding).
But all vehicles come with those dumming down features which will eventually result in generations shit drivers
Bought this car because it was Isuzu my last car 2004 Holden Rodeo (Isuzu) and did 400 thousand klm and was cheaper than izuzu but had more extras so value for money
In South Africa we also have the 1.9 diesel
