Crispy Tempura Zucchini / Courgette

  • Ingredients
    4½ oz Flour
    4½ oz Cornstarch
    10 fluid oz Very cold soda water
    pinch of salt
    ¼ inch slices Zucchini/Courgette
    There's enough batter to coat about 2lbs of Zucchini/Courgette
    Vegetable/Sunflower Oil
    200/220c - 390/430f
    Wok or Deep Pot for frying

    Beautiful, Archie :) Your videos are easy to follow and instructional. Let's not forget most friendly as well. I will be making these over this weekend while I a visiting with my son and daughter-in-law. I may even do up some tempura shrimp along w/the zucchini.       Yeah, it's super easy - the carbonated cold water acts instantly to create a light and crispy batter 👍

    I will be making these tonight. I'm sure they'll turn out extra special because I will be using a rainbow 🌈 whisk to mix the batter.😂

      Dip is 75% Mayo- 15% Ketchup- 10% Louisiana Hot Sauce with chopped dill pickle and a few chives
