    Bands allow you to lift light weight with speed while still keeping the lock out at over 75% . So it's speed work with a sub max load

      Are you another one of these bots? Just saying words in chatgpt order with 0 logical thought? Speed work with a sub max load...When hasn't it been when lifting??? Lockout at over 75%?! WHAT?! Lock out means 0 movement if your doing 75% that's what an rpe 7 maybe 6.5 why do you care about your bar speed when its light? AthleanX or whatever prolly said some dumb crap like this to sell more junk. Shame. Use your brain for 2 seconds.

    What’s the benefit of using straps instead of weights? More range of motion?? Thanks

      Bands help with weights, to over load a lift at a certain point. Where he had it in bench it would aid someone who struggles with the lock out, because it gets harder at lock out.

      It changes the strength velocity curve. Force is equal to mass x acceleration. If you have a constant mass then the only way to exert more force is through acceleration. Bands can also be used to lighten a load too by attaching them above you.

      It adds more resistance the further you stretch it...kinda like adding weight...wait...
