The old diavel never really appealed to me but this looks amazing, will be in for a road test once the warm weather is here 👍🏻
It really has changed since the last model, I thought they were sporty before but the handling on this compared to the 1260 is another level, can’t wait for the weather and it looks like rain for a week so it should clean the roads up ready for the spring :)

Yeah for sure, I don’t know of anything else out there that’s quite like it.. if it don’t get 2023 bike of the year then someone is getting paid money to say otherwise… mind you we’ve not had the new V4r yet, I was at the London bike show the other week and there was nothing there really to look at or I wanted to see apart from what was on the Ducati stand.. for me the other manufacturers need to start stepping it up

Bet the counter rotating crank is helping with the cornering I really noticed it on the first v4 panigale I had a shot of, 7 degrees is positively tropical it was minus 6 in Glasgow this morning, I nearly had to wear a jacket riding to work!!!!
Oh yeah for sure, whatever they have done it helps a lot, ha , we are southerners so we like it a bit warmer 😂
The difference between my 1260s Multistrada and my new V4s is very similar to what you are describing here. Massive step forward. 👍
Yeah you know mate, they need to make these changes to make the bikes work how they do, I really like how the V4 engine works in both of these

THIS was the video that brought me to Project Moto in the first place. Going to test out the Diavel on Friday if the weather plays ball. Pre-emptive negotiations with the Long Haired Admiral have already begun. Wish me luck.... 😂

I know mate.. tbh it happens a lot , some people just are in another world , you have to be alert all the time , weren’t even like I was doing anything silly , tbh they don’t use them much but leaving them with mirrors is the best policy.. sometimes 😂

I have a SF V4S, crazy fast, but my knees are suffering as over 6ft and getting older. This looks like a better option for the ergonomics.
Yeah it would probably be more comfortable while riding , maybe go to a Ducati dealer and sit on one, or even better if they have a demonstrator and get a ride
Awesome bike :)! Will you make a video of the new 2023 Streetfighter V4? I read some contradicting comments on how the exhaust flap behaves. Would be interested how it it really is.
Yeah it’s so cool, I will mate, il probably ride the new SFV4S as well against this too… we just had snow today and some wet weather by the look of it for the next week.. but hopefully that will clean these roads up!!

Mega Monster… It sounds like they’ve sorted out the firm rear. I’m quite drawn to this as for general road use. Love the style of the Akrapovic exhaust, if not the price…
Yeah it’s an awesome bike , rides so nice and fast , the Akrapovic for this V4 looks really good, think we are putting one on this so when we do il do a video :)
@@ProjectMoto That would be GREAT!!!! I've been looking al over the internet but not one damn soundclip, not even on the Akrapovic website. Please be the first to put that on line. It is crazy expensive, but you gain +10 hp, loose a lot of weight, and hopefully gain in cool exhaust sound
Great step forward. I was waiting it for 4 years. With Acrapovich optional exhaust it will 11 kg less and 14 hp plus 😊 1260 was beautiful looking but very controversial I didn’t like V2 vibration and turning, feels like you drop down it was strange after sport and naked bikes rake angles.
Yep it’s definitely a big step forward in the way the bike rides and handles, we are putting the Akrapovic on this bike so will do a video on it
Pretty sure the Diavel V4S will be released sooner or later, that’s what I’m waiting for. And I will get one. It’s the ultimate Funbike. I had the Diavel 1260 S and I awfully regret the selling.
Yeah maybe they will.. don’t know when you would actually see one, if you liked the 1260s you gonna love this new V4

Oh man, you just sold me on this bike. I rode the 1260 and it felt a little sluggish at slow speeds to turn unlike my SSS. Between this and the Streetfighter V4S which would you choose?
For me the Diavel is certainly now a contender for people who are looking at the Streetfighter, the Steetfighter is still faster with that crazy power above 10/11,000 revs, but this is so different to the older 1260 in how it rides, thing is everyone wants different things form a bike and we all ride different so it’s just down to what you want from the bike, best thing is get a demonstrator ride on them, only that will tell you what’s best for you… it is definitely a great bike though and fast enough for the road, personally I like how the V4 engine works on this new Diavel

@@ProjectMoto Had a crash on the crosser last weekend. Fractured my spine in 2 places, broke 4 ribs, broke my collar bone, fractured my shoulder blade and got a collapsed lung. Don’t think I missed anything lol.

Is the exhaust heat from Diavel V4's engine hot?
I didn’t notice it at all tbh but it was cold out .. could of done with some heated grips 😂

How does it compare to the Streetfighter V4 or even the V2??
In what way? They are all so different to ride, The SF v4 is faster , I mean this is fast but for me this engine is much more useable on the road, would just depend on what you want out of a bike and how you use it etc.. best getting a test ride on them and see how you feel on the bikes

It’s an awesome bike and although the read shock is better then the older 1260 it’s not as comfy as the Multi V4
@@ProjectMoto It must be.... Ducati is over every others... Just KTM push a bit more on the fun side but overall ducati is in advantage.... And even in marketing its become awesome. They really let me feel like they care of me. Last week they invite me for a webinar for multi where I can make questions to the ducati's guy that they project the bike... And isnt all .. few years ago i was invited to try the little Panigale on track. That's something that not all the brand do

Yep that would definitely be an expensive test ride.. I always say to people be careful.. if you ride one you might just need one :)

I watched your videos about the multistrada v4s. I have traded in my SFv4S for it. It’s a really good bike but Ducati China just decided give a huge promotion for the MTS. Very disappointed! However, after watching this video I think this is going to be my next Ducati. Thanks a lot!! 🫡
