i struggled so much with my diet as well when i lived in japan. i am also vegetarian but i try to eat mostly plantbased. after living there for 5 years i just had to give up at some points because there were nothing for me to eat and everything has fish extract🥲 also like you mentioned, i mostly ate sweet things because they have no like real bread and it was honestly so exhausting not having my normal food i grew up with since i am a very particular person but thankfully i am back in sweden now and can enjoy different dishes and lots of veg alternatives are readily available

I also had an inflammation of meibian gland a few months ago but I am surprised that people around me faced that problem as well in the same time period. I never heard about this thing before and suddenly I and many girls I watch on CZcams have the same problem..
@@Michaelllllax i also hadn’t heard of it before!! I think one contributing factor could be an increase in the popularity of oil cleansing, and oily residue being left around the eyes

thank you!! the language barrier wasn't too bad actually, since I didn't really have to communicate with anyone!! and if I needed help with a transaction or ordering something, google translate!! but literally all cafes, etc, had screens with English translation & I didn't get lost on the trains at all!! (never map was very useful to get around 🌷)
