I’ve been covering my soil with leaves. That year it did ok. Then cardboard. The soil was like black gold. Literally so rich and loamy. Magnificent. Now I’m trying Dutch clover as a cover crop but then also added cardboard a bit later this year. Looking forward to tulips daffs and hyacinths in the spring ❣️
