Thanks alot man I've been spending alot of time learning unreal but I want to make mobile games and also think unity looks really interesting. Is there a reason to pick Unity over Godot?
After 7 years of Unity I can say it's a great engine but if I were to start from scratch I would probably start Godot, so I don't lock myself in to the horrible practices of Unity.
I'd like to make 3d games in unity aswell and I've heard godot is only good for 2d games but I'm not entirely sure.
@@spehkeee Godot is amazing for 3D games! Understanding multiple engines helps a lot in understanding different ways of how games are made. So I for sure recommend trying it, but I also don't discourage you to try Unity. Unity just feels very corporate and bloated today.
