you are a master of your art, superb video, superb choice of music, I`ll be honest I started to cry especially at the shots of Weybourne Windmill in the distance thinking of this England as it used to be!! people enjoying themselves etc, still dont mind me I`m just a silly old fart of 69, once again well done
Well that film represents a great deal of skilled work and we are well served by such generosity. The absence of all but an excellent choice of music and the accompanying setting gives, for me anyway, a sense of ghostly endeavour and a feeling of place. On completion of the project you must have been pleased with the outcome.
A beautiful film which connects steam with England and the landscape perfectly. A lovely job and I am watching and 'welling up'-who are you and more please. Thank you so much. Mike - a volunteer on the NNR.
Great work dude i love the shots plus my fav shot has to be when the two green engines came out under the bridge that shot was majestic, steam trains are amazing and bueatiful, great work dude.
Good to hear that you enjoyed the video. I think that the 'thumbs down' come from steam enthusiasts who feel offended that the original steam engine sounds aren't present. You may also enjoy this video which I did last year: czcams.com/video/tawcuSm4tWo/video.html
HELLO, YES VERY BEAUTIFULL MUSIC, < IS IT GERARD FINZI > BUT THE STEAM SOUNDS STILL NEED TO THERE WITH THE MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND BALANCED WITH AND NOT DROWNING THE STACK TALK EXHAUST. MAYBE HAVE ONE VIDEO WITH THE EXCELLENT MUSIC AUDIO ONLY ACCOMPANING THE EXCELLENT FILM, ANOTHER FILM WITH MUSIC AND STEAM SOUNDS FINELY EQUALLY BALANCED , SO AS TO NOT DROWN EACH OTHER AND ANOTHER FILM JUST WITH THE STEAM SOUNDS ONLY !!! PETER, UPPER CLAPTON, LONDON UK, TEMP IN A WHEELCHAIR AFTER LOSING MY LEFT FOOT AND LEG UP TO MY KNEE, DUE TO POLIO AND RHEUMATIC FEVER AT AGE 8,, BUT IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO WALK ON A PROSTHESIS UNAIDED, NOT HAVING ANY LOWER LEFT LEG AT ALL. SO I CAN NOT GET TO THESE EXCELLENT BUS AND RAIL EVENTS FOR SOME TIME, SO I AM VERY DEPRESSED.
We go on holiday up there twice every year for the last 13 years

cjh30003 i have a question. When we see a steam engine pulling goods on a heritige railway is it pulling actual goods?
No, they're just empty waggons etc.
that was beautiful and so peaceful!
Excellent filming, just goes to show you don't need the sound of the train to enjoy. Now means another date and preserved railway to visit ,thanks
It’s currently 2:10 am Rn and this popped up on my recommendations... I ain’t sleeping now lol

Thanks Barry, I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. Yes, I think that the pure music track gives it an other-worldly feel.
