Yeah I get a little annoyed reading out loud and with some articles. And I'm not the biggest fan of editing to begin with. I find this stuff very difficult.
That’s a big dude! The backs of those carafe are cool. Backs of cards from this era are often overlooked for how beautiful and eye catching they are. You talked about not too much info being out there on him, I find it interesting just how many former athletes have little to no info on them. Good stuff Ryan.
The companies that issued these cards spent a lot of time designing them and their back advertising can be really ornate. I think they did an amazing job. There are a lot of athletes that have really flown under the history radar and not talked about, and that is because of what you're talking about here. If there's little information, it's difficult to discuss their achievements or who they were.

That's a good question, I have no idea why there's so little info on him. The Hobby has a lot of great stories that I like to share besides the cards.
19 stone! I just looked up the conversion and it looks like 19 stone = 266 lbs. At 6'2'' - 6'4'', he's basically an NFL linebacker. And pickin up opposing players and throwin them into the net? Mmm mmm mmm :)
Haha I've never been a math genius honestly, but I remember reading that at the most, he weighed roughly 400lbs. Still, you can tell in the photo of him on the team, that he towers over everyone! If I was an opposing player, I may think twice before approaching him with the ball! I'm not sure why he's not in the Hall of Fame, and he's in the Football League 100 Legends.
