I am growing camomile for tea and it is so amazing how well it’s growing. I told my husband that growing herbs is my favorite because they’re basically tasty weeds so they grow like crazy. 😄
Delicious vlog Josie. Regarding the jam: You can sterilize jars in the oven or in a pot of boiling water. After closing the jars, you should turn them upside down so they seal well under the influence of temperature. Put the food into the jars while it's still hot. I say this from experience because I helped my grandmother make preserves all through my childhood, and now I make them myself😋😍❤
I’m so petrified of canning!😢 I’m such a goof I’m afraid of give everyone botulism ha yikes 😱I need to read up more and take a class!! I can do the like one week in the jar pickles? Ha My auntie did it all! And sauces and pickles and relish so wonderful to grow your own and to learn how to can!💕

I’d be mindful of the idea that “if something has been done for centuries then it must be true” mindset - bloodletting, exorcism, and similar practices fall under this umbrella 😂 nothing wrong with getting into crystals (they’re pretty, I have them too!) but the adage of “it’s old therefore good” is a problematic one.
Also, I’m loving the footage from the new camera! It is so neat - the wide shots are a sometimes little fish-eye-y as you mentioned but when you’re vlogging it looks fabulous!

There is a difference between the two cameras . I don’t personally love the fish eye effect however it felt like you had your own cameraman when it was tracking you. Very cool ! Overall I liked it . Sound is better on your older camera but not substantially for me .

Like you i love spending all day in Garden, planted some new bulbs, watered the lawn and had fences painted with help from my Handyman, also treated myself to a Nandos in the Garden. Loving trying some new products through Beauty Pie. I too love purples whites and light pastel colour plants, would love to grow a Wysteria. My highland grandfather always said scones to rhyme with yawns. Hence, that's the way I've always said it. We also said tomatoes and apricots with short "a"s. Your garden looks fabulous. Your hard work and research has really paid off. Mmm- rhubarb jam sounds scrumptious. 😊

It’s so much fun making jam isn’t it. I have never tried to make rhubarb jam, though I will now. I have a tip to suppress foaming when making jam. If you put 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of butter in your jam depending on the size of your jam batch, it will help stop the foaming. I like the camera. Another great video.

Love how you are using crystals !! I firmly believe that the full moon definitely impacts our moods, our health and lunar cycles. I also heard where the phrase lunatics came from !!! Hence the word lunar cycles !! Which impacts sleep, mental state etc. There are so many theories, which some would scoff at .. but I find fascinating. Josie, the thing about a lot of so many so called"unhealthy" things is that you don't eat/cant eat a lot. ie Jam. Try rolling the dough a bit thicker before cutting... it helps with the rise. you can buy a jam funnel to load jars, its really useful for all preserves.

Congrats 550k 💐😊 The colours on the small camera outside were great, vivid but there was a bit of instability when you were on the move with a general smaller perspective as far as the view is concerned 🤔
Hi Josie, it's not recommended to use water with crystals of a hardness score of less than 6 - an easy to remember general rule of thumb is to not use water with crystals ending in -ite . Judy Hall's Crystal Bible is a great resource for crystals

Second, and I feel a bit silly here because I’m reading other comments and it seems I’m in the minority on this, but I really don’t like the new camera 😣 it just feels a bit “off” and jilted somehow and not as “real” and personal with you in the camera…almost as though you're filming underwater or something...it’s hard to articulate exactly. Also the lighting in it is not as nice…
Just my opinion, but regardless, it’s always a highlight of my day when you upload :)

I love making scones and used to have an Aga and made strawberry jam on it. Nothing more English than home made scones and jam. Rhubarb would be lovely though. What you did for LL so lovely too. I make my own herbal teas too and add mint or even bay leaves and dried hawthorn and gingko biloba which grow near me.
Darling Josie. You look beautiful regarless of the camera you are useing. It seems that the new camera has a sharpness to whatever you are filming, and a cooler color saturation of your subject . Your usual camera appears to have a warm hue to what you are filming, and a softer effect on the subject. Perhaps there are settings on the new camera where this can be adjusted if you feel you want to? Anyway, that's just my take.
