the stovetop comes with the built in pilot in the center that you can use to keep your coffee hot or your melt butter. The oven does not come with a pilot, I live in CA and when I got my chambers I had to add the pilot to the oven.
in the center of stove top is the pilot, it is always on and perfect for keeping a cup of coffee or tea hot all morning while you do things around the kitchen. the oven is the same way if you live in a state that forces you to install a pilot for the oven.@@Notturnoir
Hello. I have a 1940 model B. My griddle has always been messed up since I got it. I just keep tinfoil on it. How do you get it so clean? From what I’ve read, you can’t use most chemicals on it.

Chandelier Cottage www.airbnb.com/h/chandeliercottage and Chandelier Farmhouse. www.airbnb.com/h/chandelierfarmhouse The Chambers is in my personal home. The Cottage has an 1954 electric Frigidaire and the Farmhouse has a 1955 electric GE Stratoliner. My canning stove is a 1960 Western Holly. The Chambers is my favorite!

I have a Chambers and can not get the pilot lights to stay lit, any hints for me? For years I've been turning off the gas valve on the wall.
How do you clean your griddle? Mine has black burns on it and I cannot get it pretty again.
Just curious if it is easy to find the parts in case repair is needed for these vintage stoves.
I lived here in Los Angeles and there are a few stores that offer sale, service, parts.
