- This was definitely an interesting meme when it originally happened in the Ukraine war, but with how many times it probably has, this is actually a decent PSA for how to manage it

Thx for reacting my video!
Good memories, it was interesting day when we helped our farmer-friend to remove all those abandoned military vehicles from his field. It was a hard day's work, but I learned a lot of new things about foreign tanks and other fighting vehicles.
You are absolutely right that we used too thin towing chains, and towing should be done by towing bars anyway. But our local farmer friend have to use what ever easily available.
Thanks for sending it! It was super entertaining 😅
U had much sowiet stuff, but you gave it us in time of need. Much appreciate. Suomi. 🫀
In Finland we have private compay called Milsafarit where you can drive tanks and other tracked army vehicles.
That's dope!
This with tractors pulling tanks is not April Fools, as Swedish journalists have filmed in Ukraine how farmers towed away broken Russian and Ukrainian tanks.
Absolutely. This is real. Russia has lost 475,000+ men, and more equipment than you can imagine. Especially if you were used to dealing with these reports, look at the reports of visually destroyed Russian military equipment. It's staggering. 10'000+ fighting vehicles across the different spectrums.
If You want to drive those vehicles go to Milsafarit in Finland
Tractor pulling the Soyuz rocket 💀😂 1:35
There were military stories about some company actually managing to lose a tank in an exercise. Really don't know if it was real or not, as with these stories its very 50/50. But the story was during winter in a snowstorm, so I can kinda see that happening. Don't know how long it took for them to find it, probably not that long, but still can easily delay a move that was meant to be done in the morning.
In Finland 15 year old can get a license for driving a tractor. Teens' pastime is to tow tanks to other people's fields as a prank: "onni Traktori ajelulla".
Now this is what I subbed for
Just ask Jari or Jenna the next time you come to Helsinki for a cold one at Sotima, that place isn't too far...
watch the video - investigation "Europe dig the Trenches" it has English dubbing
Your pronunciation of the chanel name was pretty damn good! I love satunnaista sotilashistoriaa :D
Forward observations Group has a video on their channel from a recent deployment to Ukraine where he shows his drone footage of 12,…TWELVE Russian tanks in the middle of a river abandoned , looks like they all tried to storm through a river and ALL got stuck middle of river and abandoned the tanks. WILD! Imagine a US Tank Battalion getting 12 Abrams tanks stuck and just walking away from them!???
He has a lot of great videos
There is actually a couple of places here in the states that you can operate different types of tanks and such. There is one in Texas that I know of and another in Alabama.
I guess Russian military has a tradition of abandoning tanks to the field. As a finnish tank General told from a continious war, when russian armor got caught in the armor barrier and was unable to advance, a few close-range cannon shots were enough to cause panic and the crews to abandon their equipment. "we didn't mind getting 10-15 new and more modern equipment from our own fleet almost undamaged or completely intact." In fact, Finland doubled its own tank fleet during the war by capturing abandoned enemy tanks. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ukrainians could do the same.
Actually true story, but made funny
The SPG in the video is actually one of those that tourists can go and drive. Or was, it might be sold to Ukraine already. So even though the video is a joke, it is still real info.
I mean... if you build enough momentum is physically possible? That doesn't deny it's funny as hell haha
That was amazing hahaha
Always good!
That was a fun video.
No April joke.. Summer 2022 Ukraine Farmers hade Enough Modern Russian equipment to be 4th biggest military in Europe..
lmaoo good one
Everyone should go read the pinned comment of the original video. Answers to all the questions one might still have.
Sounds like an 88 would be more user friendly..lol
Lmao 🤣
lol
le first comment and viewer moment.
they offered cash to farmers for them
Tank weighs 65 ton, 1200 hp. Tractor weighs...
Tank ain't fighting back in this theory. Tractors are from 6-7 tons up to 40-50 tons, and tractors are engineered for towing heavy gear so it's plausable to tow tanks around. In fact towing that military uses are much lighter machines.
A large plow poses much more resistance than a tank with tracks that arent stuck. Weight is much less relevant than rolling resistance.
Russian tanks weigh around 45tons, IFWs and other weigh way less, so its easy job for a traktor
Those russian tanks weight under 50 tons
The one picture you asked for background is manipulated. John Deer tractor can't tow full Soyuz 2 rocket to it's launchpad .
It looks like the rocket is on train tracks. It might just be that the tractor is in front of train and the rockets car just seems to be connected to tractor
@@creislaw4821 yes it’s on a track but hauled by a locomotive. Picture is from Baikonur Cosmodrome a Spaceport in Kazakhstan.
Don't forget the case when a Russian IFV tried to tow a Leopard 2 and failed. A second had to help to tow the Leopard 2. Both were destroyed by Ukrainian troops in the attempt 🙂
*TORILLE PERKELE!*
Not once btw
Torilla tavataan my finnish legends . Thank you for the help. My beautiful Suomi. Never forget. 🫀
