  • A sunday morning visit to Glen Cleran in Oban to climb the Munro Beinn Fhionnlaidh (Findlay's Hill) which stands at 959m. The weather was set to be sunny but very cold, but what I got was the four seasons in one day. Sun, Snow, Rain all contributed to making it an interesteing and lively day. The views looking back over Glen Crenan and acroos towards Mull and the Atlantic were just stunning. The views looking down into Glen Etive were equally as impressive. THe highlight for me being the views from the top looking into Glencoe from such an unusal angle, with the mighty Buachille Etive Mor in the distance. A great day of climbing, but a long walk in and a long, tiring, but satisfying walk back to the car some 9 hours later.
