Love the logic here… “ my inner sleeves get dirty, so my solution is to stop using them. Now my cards get dirty instead, but hey! No more dirty inner sleeves!” 👍🏻
This was my first thought
Only reason inner sleeves would get dusty is if he is putting the perfect fit on the wrong way 😂
I appreciate that he’s at least somewhat self aware that he’s crazy for thinking this way
“I’m not gonna sit there like an indiot, and double sleeve my cards for hours. Instead, I’m gonna change my sleeves as often as possible”
You do realise the dust on your inner sleeve is now on your actual card without it, right?
with the brain he got i bet not
@@humbertovargas1211Actually if you watch the video he specifically says he is aware of this. Please if all you have to spread is misinformation do us all a favor and shut up.
I really liked the format of your channel showing the physical cards
Thanks I appreciate it🙏
your inner sleeves gets dusty, so your cards wouldnt
"Sure they might get damaged, I spill my coffee on my cards, but the answer to that problem is just don't spill coffee on your cards! It ain't that hard!"
Best answer I've ever heard
Your opponent: *Spills coffee on the table*
You shuffle your cards like you don't care about them so why would we expect you to care enough to double sleeve? Lmao
Good point
That riffle shuffling at the beginning was so fucking smooth!
Yes! This needed to be said
1. That shuffle is CLEAN. 2 my friend once spilled his drink on my friend’s mat and his card was double sleeved and it was safe but it was a very close call and we were both mad at him for being careless since he choose to sit at the table and spectate 3. I’ve only been considering double sleeving with the outer sleeve to protect the custom artwork sleeves I ordered. There’s no point in protecting the generic solid colors because you can just replace them like you said.
I feel obligated to say when double sleeving you are pitting a small clear sleeve on the card then putting that in the sleeve with a solid color. There are now a product or two for triple sleeving which is more along the lines if what I think you are describing
I 100% support the idea of inner sleeving, but the main issue I'm having right now is that my deck is now full of air pockets and my card sleeves actually "bubble" when they have pressure applied. This makes them quite unwieldly to hold when there's a bunch of small air pockets shifting all over the place. I tried squeezing each card out individually, but those things seem pretty air tight. Hoping the bulging effect diminishes after a few days.
Vacuum chamber for the premo bubble free experience! 😜
This is actually why I prefer side loader inner sleeves
Can anyone help me on how to shuffle cards? I find it really difficult with sleeves.
Shuffling a deck like that when it's modern is insane.
How else are you shuffling?
@@bastianstieg819 stack shuffling slowly.
If you shuffle like that you might as well consider using no sleeves
I’ve got roughly 50 thousand cards all in perfect fit sleeves. That way if I need to swap cards I don’t have to find an inner sleeve for it.🤷♂️
I totally agree. The cards look darker too, you can't appreciate the art. But.... I admit that I feel tempted to double sleeve sometimes to use oficial art sleeves...
Seriously don't eat or drink near something that can be destroyed by food or drink.😊I love the way you think.
inner sleeve upside down and outer the opposite. Not dust or less.
I would avoid prolonged eye contact with you, and not once leave you unattended around small creatures.
What sleeves do you use?
Then shuffle with more respect, in different way! There is no reason to suffle in such dangerous way!!
Double sleeve feels better.
You re the real maniac
You show me a video of you changing the sleeves of a 60 card deck in 5 minutes and ill believe you, fail and I can't take anything you said here as truth
Would it really take another video for him to prove he doesn’t know what he’s talking about? 😂
@michaelmyers4943 nah I think he knows what he's talking about, I just think sometimes he doesn't know what's going on
Actually valid points that I can respect. I totally thought this was going to be another video of someone who bought cheap inner sleeves that ended up bending their cards, not realizing that they bought "Jargon Shell" sleeves and claimed they were Dragon Shields.
It’s not my coffee that I’m worried about it’s the idiot that doesn’t play cards that shows up spills their beer and says dude it’s just cardboard why are you mad, then I get to explain they’re now 1200 dollars in debt
You sir are a class act troll! Kudos
Someone doesn’t have kids
Because you are poor... Tell that to a cedh player or vintage player to not double sleeve the cards...
This is a hot take…
Why don’t you want to preserve the cards?
"Don't spill coffee it's not that hard." yea... right. You would've thought that during a commander night when roughly 10k€ are on the table everyone is cautious. And then, a very experienced player who knew (roughly) the value on the table, who was extra cautious with his beer just knocked it over, onto another beer and the whole table drowned.
We came to about 100€ in damages on sleeves. 0€ damage on cards. (except for tokens, some of which where in sleeves, but not double sleeved).
All the arguements you made are stupid:
1. shuffling. I can shuffle my doublesleeved commander decks like a madman, don't worry, you'll learn that too.
2. "Clean" well.. yes perfect fits gather some dust over time. But slowly and it's that dust that doesn't get to your cards adding micro-scratches.
Also you switch sleeves often... you do realise you don't have to switch inner sleeves that often right?
Hours on doublesleeving? 60 Card decks? I own 14 commander decks. That's 1400 cards double sleeved. I sleeve all of them within 2 hours while watching videos. That's all of them. I double sleeve a single deck (desleeve and resleeve with fresh sleeves) in like 10 minutes.
This has to be bait. 😂
hahaha I knew you had to be joking
My deck has like 4 double sleeved cards if the card is worth 20 of more I double sleeve it
that's marking your cards and illegal in tournaments. Just double sleeve everything you dingus
@@schwarzertee7586 I only have four inner sleeves and I don’t play in tournaments
Derp derp
this is just stupid!
60 cards 5 minutes 120 card hours to sleeve bro what's wrong with you? Did you hear the things you were saying and still posted this....and the shuffle my God man have some respect for yourself and others......ps look it up if your shuffle your deck in that way your actually shoving your lands together in my experience when you make the deck I'm sure you alternate lands in when finished shoving them all together on the edges is spreading that land farther apart each time.
I need to learn how to shuffle like that
Practice with a cheap deck of casino playing cards, start by practising bridging the cards long ways towards each other until it feels natural, then switch to doing it short ways like in the video.
Dumb
But your legacy is on double sleeved, you are inconsistent TBH
Your sound poor
I cringe watching you shuffle like that.
