+DARK EMPEROR For items this size and weight air transport is not a solution. Even if it is possible, the airport is often miles away from the installation location. A dam near my home town got a back up high voltage transformer (200 tons). They shipped it to the town on a special rail car, and then trucked it (much like this) the 18 miles to the dam. A similar load went through my hometown headed for a refinery in canada. The item in that case, came in on a ship, was loaded on the trailer, and transported on the state/national highway's (but not the freeway) across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Reason for the route? Freeway had several low clearance areas that they could not fit through, and rail had the same problem, but the back highway's just had power lines for them to clear, and local utilities will work the the company moving oversize items.
μπραβο ρε παιδια. τους βάλαμε τα γυαλιά τους ξενους.!!!
That's so cool how "graceful" that over-sized load is moved up & around the mountain corner! Job well done, truckers!
Awesome Transportation .... Great Efforts and superb planning ... kudos to the transporter !!!
The ammount of coordination in this clip is amazing.
Four trucks to pull it, and one to push O_O

Hi,
And many thanks for this upload. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall as this transport was arranged.
