You're one of those derivative CC's that say the same thing over and over, so I'll just say this. If you only pull supports and sub-dps limited 5-stars in gacha games, you will never feel like you're truly doing amazing damage, because all your DPS will be either f2p or 4-stars. The thing with pure DPS units is, they might get "powercrept" slightly faster, but when they come out, they usually are the MOST broken unit in the game for a specific window of time. Also Jinhsi is very likely here to stay in the spectro DPS role for a pretty long time, her damage is top notch. Pull for a very high DPS 5-star that you like at least, or you will always feel like you're doing less damage than necessary. Get Jinhsi if you don't have Jiyan, but have Yinlin for example. Balance out your account, don't only pull for sub-dps and support just because of "future longevity".

Here is something for you to think about. Most gacha games Support characters are more future proof. But this is Kuro games, The other game they run is Punishing grey raven, and if you play PGR, the most important character is, the DPS character, and they don't replace DPS characters faster than support, they actually replace support characters faster than DPS characters in that game.

And Changli isn't a support character. She is a DPS with outro buff. So if we go by "pull for supports" logic you should get neither

You can duo Verina ( or Yinlin ) + Jinshi and be just fine. She just need to swap. Can be anyone.
Her DPS is more than enough. Don't be stuck in those meta and that narrative, play the characters you like.

In case you missed something,
1) Jinhsi does cleave damage, Which means She will one-shot the toughness bar-like thing. Changli's attacks are standard and nothing special.
2) If you pull a DPS character in any gacha game, Try hard to get his/her weapon. I accidentally pulled Jiyan but didn't pull the weapon. Now he sucks. I benched him after building Jinhsi. I can go TOA without him.
3) In the character trial scenario during the main quest, Most people show off the character they like. (Ofc who doesn't like an anime girl with huge milk jugs! haha) But if you carefully play all the trial characters giving a fair chance to shine. You will see most of the damage comes from Jinhsi, even without those stacks.
*If you see the tags of Changli's, It shows she is a MAIN DAMAGE DEALER. Ofc she has a supportive outro and she is a hybrid (quick swap). But she required quite a field time too. What I mean is most content creators force you to say that if you have Encore, she must pull! But we need to see that when she arrives because Encore is designed to be a main dmg dealer too.
Don't get me wrong. I'm planning to pull her too, If the 1.2 patch does not give us a healer or any other support character.

So changli depends. If i win the 50/50 on jinhsi's S1 i night not get changli since 50/50.. if i dont get jinhsi's S1 by losing 50/50 ill get changli..
Tho i always like big nuke quickswap dps compared to a character who needs to stay on field to do their combo and dmg.. with jinhsi all you have to fo is start with her big combo and if your team has enough er and you do knwo how to do proper rotations, all she does is
Intro > E > E+ echo > 4 basic > E.. and ult depending on your Er.
Where in changli.. her combos seems to be longer since you do combos to get them.. and she needs to have her ult every rotation or youre losing a lot of dmg since her ult immediately fills her forte..
But i think she might be better for f2ps cuz standard banner sword is broken and very close to her signature.. where standard broadblade us like 26% less dps than jinhsi's signature.. eveb jiyan's weapon is like 18% worse.
I'm definitely leaning towards Changli, not because of meta relevance, it's more about Mommy relevance
Jinhsi is WuWa's version of Imbibitor Lunae.
Dropped some pulls and is now 60 pity on both banners (Char and weapon). I love both characters for different reasons, Jinshi for dmg and just how buttery smooth her rotations are and the animations are just icing on cake, while with changli the same applies but her themes tugs on my heart strings more. But as an f2p I can only get one hence its waifu > Meta kekw.
But honestly, there are still so many events and the new area gives a lot of asterites through exploration and quests that I'm sure (unless you lose 50/50 all the time) f2p can get both char (and even with their weapon if lucky enough). Lunite + bp will increase your odds even more.
I didn't know you could test changli until today.. I spent for jinhsi and her weapon yesterday. But by sounds of it I did a good choice cos I do prefer jinhsi's attack animations. But, I do have yinlin which I didn't know was the best support for her until today. I'm happy with my choice cos I do prefer jinhsi design at the end of the day.

It's 20% better than standard 5-star, and it's not really universal, so idk if it's worth it if your resources are limited

I put anyone in between jinhsi and verina in my team freely, I believe everybody got verina somehow until now so 😌
what i mean is, she's not stuck in teams where you need coordinated char like jinhsi. Her fusion buff is a bonus, you can use her in any teams and she will still do well

Chang li is main dps , kuro proof it in the current notice banner.
From chang li gameplay , she look like need in on field most of time.
If you want to party her with encore.
Encore become sub dps, main dps is chang li.
Ok then there will be mortefi in changli's team to get benefit from her fusion buff and a healer (which is probably verina surprise!!) There is just a few characters in game yet and being stuck with some characters is not a deal in my opinion. I mean jinhsi is not bad cuz she wants coordinated attack blablabla just get who you like thats all. dont lead people wrong.

@@realSuperaTom Nah it was some kind of joke because I love her but still want the other one. :D She plays best with Yunlin and that alone was reason enough...after the story quest I noticed it was the right decision to pull for her.
I might not get any ... I love Changli her moveset most of all but units are getting powercrept left and right so im not gonna get any DPS at the moment
if you think like that you can never get any dps. many people have said that in punishing gray raven, the developers other gacha games, supporters were powercrept more often than dps. its also such a waste to only think of future proofing your account while ignoring fun and which characters are good in the moment. its also a pve game so even jiyan as the first ever limited dps will stay relevant for a long time, especially if we get more aoe based content. just get the characters you like and dont think about the future too much, otherwise you end up skipping everyone until you lose interest and stop playing.

Jinhsi is F2P friendly since her best SubDPS is free (Yuanwu).
You only need Taoqi or Verina for support.
And she is very easy to build, now with 2 Spectro bosses.
Changli is probably even better for F2P and way more versatile.

You're wrong about many things you say in the video. Do you know theorycrafting exists? Jinshi's best sub-dps is not Yinlin. It's Taoqi, and Yuanwu. If you didn't know, there are many theorycrafting discords out there, a very popular one is Jinshi mains. It's a bunch of Jinhsi mains TC that do the actual math and test team comps, telling you that Yinlin is worse for Jinhsi's team (Yes, literally doing less damage), than Taoqi or Yuanwu. There are spreadsheets, and sources posted next to these findings, if you don't believe it... All the information is already out there...
You absolutely do NOT need Yinlin to make Jinshi work properly, you can use a completely free unit like Yuanwu as an E-bot, and Jinhsi's damage IS BETTER (Yuanwu charges up her incandesence stacks faster than Yinlin does), and all you do with him is swap into him, press E, Q, and swap out. You also don't need Yinlin doing her off-field damage, because you will be buffing Jinhsi's damage faster. Not to mention, Yinlin's electro DMG buff, as well as resonance liberation damage buff are both completely wasted on Jinshi (the vast majority of Jinhsi's damage comes from resonance SKILL).
As for her weapon, yes, she's dependent on her sig, but so what? It's a guarantee at 80 pulls, and a very decent stat stick with crit rate for other units to be used as well. You could say that most limited DPS are dependant on their weapon, since, well obviously they want a nice dps boost to do the thing that they are meant to do (you know, dealing damage).
Why make videos about topics you know nothing about? Please educate yourself before making yourself the authority on character value in a gacha game.
I am a new player. For Yuanwu, if I use him like "E > Q", does his totem will disappear after using Q? So the rotation for him should be E > Q then E again to place it, is this correct?
