I was going to see them a few weeks after that happened, but they canceled all of their shows directly after. It was sad and old crow has never been the same without Willie. I’ve seen his solo shows since and he’s amazing. Had him sign a poster at a show in Houston. He’s such a genuinely nice guy.

The Father and Mother represent the Nashville Music Cronies, Willie represents real Country Music, he comes to them seeking recognition and fame, they say they want him buried. The Girl represents the true people of Country music, loyal fans, real people, they won't let him die.

They didn't fire him. He left on his own accord due to being a parent and because he didn't like the direction the band was going.
