You could put in the customisable diff and race gearbox to get the lowest ratios possible for towing, along with tuning the 1.0 engine and it will pull much more i think.

Just a different carb could make a big difference (performance block could lower low end torque)
Pulling heavy stuff is all about gear ratio. That's why you see videos with trucks pulling 1000 containers. It's impressive yes, but doesn't prove anything.

You could have added more reduction with the race gearbox and race final drive. Or you could have inflated the dolly and trailer tires to like double the psi to lower the rolling resistance. With these combined I am sure you could pull at least 120 tonnes

Fun fact somehow the stock wydra can pull 15 tons no problem but if you tune it to its max you can really get it going
If that car had a lower gear it would have been able to pull 80 tons without destruction, but it would be really slow.

2.5hp at max. We're talking abt some Eddie hall type of shit. Besides with the right gear ratio, you can pull anything. Of course the ratio has to be insane but theoretically you can do it.
on level tarmac innormal shoes with coefficient of friction 1 max what human can generated wothout jerk is 100% maybe lil more body weight force so assuming 100 kg human you have 100 kg force roll for tire on tarmac avg is like 0,02 so 9,81 x100 :0,02 = 5 tons max around in such test condition assuming person use jerk technique it can pull more 😉👌🏻 value change depend od roll friction under shoes weight of pulling person 👌🏻😉 can be from 2 ton let say to 10 tons with jerk and or with hole in ground for grip „much more 👌🏻 for push avg 1 ton car on level tarmac with normal tire pressure 15-20 kg force is required even kid can do this 😉👌🏻 just offcorse beacuse force be very small accelerstion be very small so car will change position very slooooooowwwwww and person need to push very long for achive specified distance 😉

The answer is simple - an "infinite" amount of weight, if you get proper parameters. In any case, towing the Saturn V rocket would be no problem with a proper vehicle using a 1-litre engine. Obviously, the SPEED would be extremely low with such incredible gearing etc. But as long as you don't mind the low speed, anything is possible.

@@Riskw-mk1lo In any case, a 1-litre engine can pull thousands of tons, if geared properly. And of course the vehicle has to be heavy enough to get traction.
You just have to gear it very very low, and you can tow anything. But it will take some time.
Its all about engine horsepower and wheel torque.

I'm not gonna lie, that little air cooled F4 is super super durable. If you don't push it THAT hard, it can survive anything, thanks to no liquid coolant, which would've already blew the coolant pipes and radiator

Any car can pull any weight on a level road. If no components break. But even 1 PS (lets use a safety factor of 2 and make it 2 PS) can move 100 tons. The scary part is how to stop 100 tons with your beetle.

in theory, if the attatchment point was higher (like the roof) then the act of pulling would apply downward force and aid in traction.
...not that traction was the main issue here, but still

This is not applicable to real life :D - burnt clutch, broken axle shaft, engine stall, engine overheat, a real car like this wouldn't be able to spin wheels, lets say it is gr corolla and the car is super overbuilt - then again this stress would cause major overheat of the weakest links and even a miracle happens and this can is still alive - this would cause serious wear to the car like it is 40 years of age old and worn.

Well, there's a detail you're missing with that comment: trucks rev lower so to compensate amd be able to reach higher speeds they have longer ratios, you'd need something like a F1 gearbox to get the desired result, and final drive ratio (the ratio output of the differential) affects more anyways.
