DESOLATION WILDERNESS 2020 | A sub-alpine California treasure - 4k HD

Desolation Wilderness covers over 60k acres in California right next to the Tahoe Basin. It's an incredible place to go hiking/backpacking right next to some of its famous lakes which include lake Aloha, Dicks lake, lake Fontanelles, and many more.
We started our hike near the emerald bay at Bayview Campground and followed the trailhead all the way to Dicks Pass. We got the opportunity to stroll by Dicks Lake and Dicks Peak which were both truly epic sights.

The images you captured are quite beautiful. I’ll be doing a 3 day backpacking trip in desolation wilderness. Looking forward to bagging Dicks Peak.
