Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, is also able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective, with a primary focus on Batman's melee combat, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City, interacting with characters and undertaking missions, and unlocking new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment. The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together against numerous foes while avoiding damage, while stealth allows Batman to conceal himself around an area, using gadgets and the environment to silently eliminate enemies. Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which is used for transportation, puzzle solving and combat.

Defending Wayne Manor and the Batcave should've been an actual part of the campaign. Would've been a good climax after his identity got revealed.

Wow I forgot how OP the fear takedown is, it kinda makes stealth way too easy when you can just instantly take out 4 dudes like that.

I found out that if you use the cinematic camera on the line launcher and do a fear takedown right from the line launch (using smoke helps), the fear takedown camera is completely different. It's a cinematic camera but from a completely different angle... It looks amazing!

I love the atmosphere of the mansion, it would have been great to be able to explore it together with the batcave, it sounds ridiculous but I would have liked to have a place of my own to return to every time

Arkham Knight downright perfected their combat and stealth system. It was beautiful.
Sadly their extreme polishing was kinda drowned out by all their focus on new mechanics like the Batmobile. Wish they went all out on enemy encounters and bossfights instead, maybe then more people would appreciate just how well developed the old mechanics have become.

I don’t know how you pulled this off, every time I try to freeze the guy for a ice smash takedown he’s always too quick for me or three enemies never linger near his body for a triple line launch. Is it literally just rng lol

Woah, what suit is that?
The "Batsuit v8.05 - Prestige Edition", the reward you get for beating the game at 240%. You have to fully complete the base game and Season of Infamy DLC (100% for the vanilla game and side missions, an additional 20% for the DLC) and then *do it all over again* on New Game+ mode which locks you into Knightmare difficulty. Get that 240% completetion on the profile and you unlock this Batsuit which is basically the regular newer Arkham Knight Batsuit but with gold highlights.
