    Hi Mr.Daniel,Thanks for video.I completed my FRCR in 2010 and I am a continuing member of Royal college of Radiologists.Presently working in Middle East. If I want to apply for Consultant post in NHS -Do the GMC needs CESR at the start itself or we can work for a Fixed 1 or 2 years Locum consultant job and then apply for CESR? Or with FRCR degree and a Royal college member is it easy to get CESR at the start without uploading 800 documents as sometimes needed for Direct CESR. Please clarify. Thanks and Regards

    I am applying for GMC after doing my post graduation. Is there any time limit to complete CESR application after receiving full GMC? Or is it just a myth.
    I have heard that a CESR application to Gmc has to be completed by 2 years after receiving full GMC.

      Hello Doctor,
      Yes, you will need full GMC Registration before you can apply for CESR.
      I would also advise waiting until you have UK experience before you apply for CESR. You will be allocated an Educational Supervisor when you arrive to help you with your application.
      Kindest regards,

    I have read through the GMC CESR website and it seems incredibly lengthy and complicated. How's the success rate of CESR application indeed? any agency in UK would facilitate or give advice regarding CESR application? and is it a must to be on the specialist list before we can apply for UK consultant post?

      @bdiresourcing5775  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Doctor,
      The CESR process is long and it does require you to collate a lot of documentation, yes. However, of course it is absolutely worth it as it will allow you to work as a permanent Consultant!
      Please find the success rates here: www.gmc-uk.org/-/media/documents/sat-statistics---cesr-2019---dc11862_pdf-78057344.pdf

      Hello Dr Chan,
      Thank you for your comment.
      The NHS heavily relies on amazing international doctors.
      To work in the NHS, you will need to be GMC Registered.
      To do this, you will need to:
      1. Evidence your English language skills via IELTS/OET
      2. Evidence your specialist knowledge and skills via PLAB/GMC approved postgraduate qualification
      Can I please ask how much experience you have and what grade you are currently working at?
      Kindest regards,
      Gabrielle

      @@kenchan8679 Hello Dr Chan,,

    If one has completed MRCOG all the parts of the exam and willing to work in The UK. Is it necessary to get the CESR done to be working as a consultant in the UK. Or at what level can I apply? Kindly let me know.

    • @bdiresourcing5775
      @bdiresourcing5775  Před 5 lety +1

      Hello Far,
      Thank you for your comment.
      If you have full MRCOG, you will then need to obtain a pass in IELTS or OET to evidence your English language skills.
      Then, depending on your experience, you can apply for an ST3+ job.
      Once you have settled into the UK and NHS as a system, you can begin working on your CESR application to work as a UK Consultant.
      Could I please ask for you to send your CV to apply@bdiresourcing.com Far? And we can advise further based on your experience.
      All the best,
      Gabrielle

The SCE examination will however look excellent on your CV and make you more employable to Trusts! 1) they are asking minimum CME POINTS PER YEAR but as of now in INDIA that CME POINT system is not so much build up.
    SO I COULDN'T FULLFILL THAT CRITERIA FOR GMC CESR APPLICATION !
