I'm an expat living in Nepal and like this topic. I may do a video for advantages and disadvantages to coming to Nepal. But I love Nepal so much I find it difficult to think of disadvantages. I think tourism could heal the world if it wasn't for the environmental issues of just getting here.
@@gudiyakumarimandal2235 An ex-pat is someone from the west who moves to a developing nation. It's really the same as being an immigrant except ex-pats keep a stronger connection to their home country rather than integrating as immigrants do.
One strong point against tourism is the environmental issues. They say traveling by air can use more than your year's carbon footprint. Also, westerners bring their horrible morals to these countries and can spread diseases. It can really be disruptive to society when a tourist doesn't know his/her place. We are here as observers. We need to be careful about inserting our own values where they don't belong.
