From what age v should give kids their independence? I have a 2 year old child. How to make an independent 2 year old child to have bath on her own, to eat , to sleep on her own, to say rhymes or her wish don't say rhymes.
I made that mistake and now I have an adult child who is not independent how can I change it now is it possible?
I am child listening to this . Now I don't fear taking my own decision as it will only make me stronger and wiser
Please give a talk on mothers who are bringing up special kids.... To keep them motivated. They are really tired parents mentally & physically
Asperger experts has some fantastic resources in this arena a book, several classes etc
This!! 💯💯💯 It's hard. It's trying. Especially trying to get them independent.
Great work. U should do one talk for especially father's, who pamper the daughters so much it becomes very hard for the mother's to discipline them
Sir..am feeling happy to say that i hve made my son independent, though my friends at times think am rude n they think I don't love my child jus coz I don't allow my son to depend on my for each n everything!!! but as u said sir, making a child independent is the first duty that nowadays parents must do for their own child's well-being...thank you for the video..stay blessed and happy.
Exactly. There vl definitely b a place or day wen v can't b with them. That time they should nt feel hopeless abt themselves.
From what age we should give them independence? Bcoz I have a 2 year child. How can I make an independent 2 year old child to have bath on his own, to eat on his own and many more
Have you let your children do the followings on his/her own ? Be honest.
1. Choose career own his/her own.
2. Choose schools, colleges on his/her own.
3. Choose life partner on his/her own.
4. Find any options related to anthing on his/her own.
5. Let him/her deal with his/her own mistakes of life on his/her own.
I would appreciate your answer.
Same!

What an excellent video !!! Thank you so much Shridhar Maheswari Sir for this wonderful piece.
My first comment ever on you tube for a topic like this........I really liked it ....well.said .....
I admire your talk about parenting and 99% are right about it. But I can’t agree with one thing. If my child, especially in a young age like 9-10 or even grown up, bullied from someone either at school or from teachers or anyone , I will always stand up for him!
It’s nothing to learn in there for kids by ignoring the kid to figure it out alone or suffering alone with bullies!
After all my experiences in my life, I have realised one thing: 99% of kids or grown ups are always survive any circumstances with or without Parents in their lives. So, I think that being supportive as a Parent by standing up against the bullies , is the best support I can give to my child while I am alive, especially in Kerala, India. Because unfortunately there are so many uncivilised people including teachers regardless of their job or positions, are communicating wrongly with children in Kerala . They are communicating with children in daily basis, without taking any consideration of their psychological status and most of their comments are seriously abusive towards children. For that reason,
it’s very important that a child feels protected from Parents by standing against their bullies. When they see that their parents are standing with them against bullies, it will increase their confidence and will help to grow up them without any defensive mechanism.
Because 99% of kids will grow up with a defensive character if no one stand up with them against bullies or nasty people in their childhood period . At the end of the day, each Parent should act for the best interest of their kids. It’s easy to say all these good parenting advices , but it’s very hard to follow it all the time. Then, I would say that let it as a flow of life and do your best until your last breath!
Because their life will go on with or without our (Parent’s ) presence. So, I can’t be so perfect like you saying , but I will parenting from my good instinct really , and the rest leave it to God.
Jazakallahu khaira (tq) bro

Decision making practice
Thankyou for this excellent presentation. I still struggle with my lack of emotional resilience, and subsequent lack of responsibility, even in late middle age.
I was raised by a dominant mother and a lovely but emotionally absent father. I didn’t ever truly connect with him.
Our mother constantly told us “don’t do this, don’t do that”.
She was obsessed by me coming into to contact with a paedophile. I’m not sure where, as I wasn’t allowed out anywhere on my own until I was in my mid teens!
I was never allowed to spend time with my father doing things I was interested in, like attended a vintage car rally or motor museum. Instead, my mother always dictated the direction of family activities.
Well intentioned, but misdirected parenting can leave lifetime scars which need constant self management. Very sad.
More worryingly this female domination has left me with “an issue with women”. Whenever I have had a female manager it has inevitably resulted in very unpleasant conflict down the line.
I totally understand you.i had the same upbringing....
Please make videos on overcoming negligent childhood in later years of life
I now experience this now i watch it 😂 as a mother of 21 yr old
Thanks very much ❤same here
👍👍👍👍
👏👏👌👌😊
Who are those people who dislike these kind of videos !!!??
❤❤❤❤
Hiii shridhar
I liked ur videos very much... Very helpful for parenting.... Thnx
Please post video on how to stop child being a copy cat. I have 7 old son he copies almost everything he see. M worried cause he copies all the bad behaviour and bad mouthing from other kids.
Plz do video on parenting with boarding child
2nd point they may feel that there is nobody to protect them. I faced this many times in life. And I didn't get help from anywhere. I am a recluse today
If there decision turns out to be a flop. Parents should stand with them.
bababluelotus : I feel same. I can’t agree with him to ignore our kid I if somebody bullied at school in order to learn his mistakes!!
When the kid bullied from child or when the teacher un necessarily hurt the child, I think, as a Parent, I should to stand up for him .
@@nicsilvestroni9221 he didn't said ignore the child , you support the child listen to the whole story , lovingly advise them if there was some mistake from their side , explain that people can be rude and mean sometimes , give them their boundries clearly and show complete support if someone tries to hurt them physically.
Mrinalni Mangore : wow! If my child is been attacked physically, that person will be in jail,
I can assure you!!!
If is a child attacked my son, his parents should take the responsibility by expressing a genuine apology, but it’s all depends on the severity of the attack!!
@@nicsilvestroni9221 good for you if you wanna involve police with kids..thats real mature
I need to toughen up my kid , and let him handle his/her things with clear instructions when he or she needs to escalate matters to
Me(parents ) as well as other authorities (teachers etc or if a teacher is involved then approach principal)
Mrinalni Mangore : ok perfect Parent !
I am not so perfect like you . You go on with your good work and I do mine.
Do come to Bangalore sometime
Please come to karnataka also sir..
You are so handsome I really like u, lovely video ❤️
(FACTS OVA FEELINGS). . Wee have the tendency to minimize the power of the Child wee love to think that the child represents wat wee will grow out the process of personal progression but eye have a little sceret for eu the inner child is the disguise for the Higher-Self this is y awakened begins and have many childlike qualities in fact the moor awakened someone becomes the moor they become once again like a child albeit a very wise one
Thank you for making this video....when r u coming to Bangalore .karnataka
Apparently he talked about how parents control their kids and take ALL DECISIONS FOR THEM. But I am having a hard time convincing my in-laws that they need not take every decision for me and my husband. It is so annoying.
But you shoudnt always feel like its effecting you...ifits about your child, Remember hes his own person so even if your in laws.. Or you... Or a stranger says anything.. It shouldn't matter..
So good sir. Your videos are too good for today's parents. But some of things are have to change with age group. Ex my child is 9 months old but i have to treat her different so can you please mention age group on your videos
I need this video of my parents they are not compatable
