    I just made a cane using these same colors yesterday. It feels like springtime! I’m gonna see whether I have enough left to make a bowl, too, because you’ve inspired me!
    (By the way, it’s pronounced “barjello,” just in case you need to say it again. ☺️)
    Oh, and thanks for “You are the boss of the clay”; that was a revelation for me! Too often, I clay as if I’m the slave and the clay is the master. You just taught me that _I’m in charge_ and not the clay! I’m gonna go work on that bowl right this minute while the phrase is still fresh in my mind, and I’ll bet things work out differently this time. Thanks for the valuable lesson, Teresa! 💋

    I love how easy you make it.. I used the bowls from the $ Tree but I removed it from the bowl and made it a ring bowl

    Theresa, i was in todays class. Don’t know what happened, but i got shut out. So disappointed. I finally got there on time to. On a better note. I finally am learning how to make cane, and i covered my first glass bowl. I was so excited to see it happen as i was creating it. It’s not perfect, but it turned out pretty good. So much fun to make. Thank you girl!!!!!! LOVE YA!!!

    Hey Theresa! Quick question - after you bake this, do you remove it from the glass, or does it become one? If it does become one, after the clay is cured, can you use it for food, like nuts, etc., or it that bad because of the clay? Thank you! And thanks for the great video!

    Are you able to remove the finished bowl from the mold when done baking? Is there a glaze you can finish the inside of the bowl with to make it food safe and functional?

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get it right, it just goes to mush 😔 I was looking forward to dipping my fingers into this, but it's put me off not getting it right, I do the skinner blend, then roll cut into quarters but when I try pulling the outer edge into the center it doesn't stay straight n from there it just goes wrong. PLEASE HELP what am I doing wrong, is it the polymer clay I bought as I bought just a cheap set off amazon too see if I could do it n if I like it, but it just not working I even try putting it in freezer for bit. N it still mushes. U make it look so easy. Please help.

    If one wanted to remove the glass bowl after baking how would you do so?

    • @TeresaPandoraSalgado
      @TeresaPandoraSalgado  Před 3 lety

      Run your fingernail or a thin piece of plastic around the edge. Once the suction is broken, you’ll be able to ease it off.

    • @TeresaPandoraSalgado
      @TeresaPandoraSalgado  Před 4 lety +1

      Linda Fodor I leave it as us; but you can varnish it if you like. I recommend DeepShine because it’s waterproof.

    Teresa, how do i seal a bowl i covered with clay? Anything i have has to go under a light. It’s not deep enough. Should i take the bottom off? Just not sure which one to use.
