- This sweet little bowl is made using a leaf cane completely created from polymer clay. The bowl makes a fantastic little gift and can be used as a decorative piece, or a as a trinket or ring bowl. The colourful leaf cane is useful in all aspects of polymer clay cane work, and can be used to create jewellery, added to other canes for picture frames, sculptures, card toppers etc. This is a wonderfully versatile cane and is great fun to make.
I take you through the whole process of creating this little bowl, step by step. So sit back, relax and see how you can make one for yourself.

What kind of surface are you working on?
Do you mean the squared sheet? If so that is the laminated sheet I mention in the tools list. Other then that, I work on a big ceramic tile on top of my worksurface, which is an ordinary laminated table top. I hope that helps? thanks Suzanne :)
Fiona Abel-Smith PolyOriginals Hi Fiona, thanks so much for responding! No, I meant the white surface of your table. It looks like white board?? Probably a great surface to work from. Your videos are so inspiring? I would love to try this art form sometime. Have you written a book? Which videos would you recommend I start with? I can’t stop watching! You’re amazing! Such stunning work?
@@suzannedawson4120 Ah, so yes, it is a simple laminated work top , from Ikea if I remember correctly ;) I haven't written a book, but with the amount of videos I have done on here, CZcams and in magazines previously I might as well have done :) The easy kaleidoscope cane is a good one to start with :) czcams.com/video/uk32o_OY7eY/video.html
