Translucent caning is endlessly fascinating. Try this easy version and then customize it with all kinds of colors, canes and blends. For this one I used 1 bar or less of Sculpey Premo in Translucent, White and Yellow Gold Glitter. I teach caning in person every year at IndyJam in October in beautiful Indianapolis. This channel deserves way more likes and subs. Teresa from Tiny Pandora is a marvelous innovator and i am so honored to have found her tutorials and am saving my monies for her amazing all in one set! She has inspired me to be more complex and innovative myself! Clay working helps me a lot with my sobriety and building self worth. Figuring out how to problem solve and the rewarding end of a project has kept me from relapse for the past month. i am three years clean but ive been struggling with cravings..not what I was addicted to, but something else "just for fun"... I feel so free and empowered! Thank you, Teresa for your contributions to Poly World!! Much love to you! 💘💘💘
I’ve attempted to make this cane a few times but kept missing something. So, I started with your early tutorials and absorbed everything you were sharing. I finally bought the square cane builders with some other tools. OMG, what a difference. These will not be one of those tools that I use once and throw in the drawer and never use again. The cane may not be perfect but to me it is perfect. Thank you for sharing your skills with all of us. ❤
Great to hear!
I just love this piece and how easy the cane was then just adding because of the translucent oh wow love all of the pieces you do make me relaxed as you explain each step thank you
Tereasa as always thank you so much for sharing, I've learned so much and so much more to learn. Tiny steps right. Love, love, love translucent clay ❤️ 💙 💖
Tiny Pandora cane benders are on my Wish List!
Awesome cane Teresa!!
Lovely tutorial Teresa. Great idea to have 2 points to thread the chain through on the top of the pendant :)
Wow!!! What a versatile cane. So beautiful I have to try this combination and see what happens
Thank you
Thank you Teresa.. this is now on da list! Love it😍😍
Thank you Teresa, it's a gorgeous technique & a real game changer for me. I especially like the blue heart and moon necklace you show at the end and next to the piece with the golden under layer you wouldn't believe they were all using the same technique.
Absolutely stunning! I haven't seen anything like this before! Thank you for sharing!
My dear Lady! Now I have 2 favorite caners! You and Turtle Soup.
I don't seem to get enough of your designs. They're all beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
Thank you so so much! It was easy to understand. I will say it did not turn out as nice as yours but my first time I was sooooo Happy! I followed your instructions and made 3 beautiful pendants! I love them💕

I had to laugh because at every junction I thought, oh, how pretty! Then you would do the next step and I would gasp. By the end of the video I may have been hyperventilating. :-) I learned so much from this film and thank you so, so much!
Carla Randall thank you😃

I love your work, the way you come up with ideas that just seem to pop into your head at the moment. You inspire me, not to copy you, but to use my imagination and take my time. Thank you for sharing your techniques! I have a question: where do you get your antique gold eye screws? I can only find silver. In fact, where to you get your antique gold findings? They're beautiful.
CRANBERRY MARY thank you♥️ JoAnn has my favorite antique gold findings. The little screws are from Ebay.
I haven't been working with clay for a while. That turned out great. I LOVE working with the translucent clay. I need to get back in with it and get creative again!! Thank you for sharing. you have inspired me to get back into one of my very first creative loves!! Thanks.

I remember watching videos from you years ago where Spike had cut you some templates from wood I think... And now you've got a whole line of wonderful Lucite tools to sell... It's neat to see how your claying has progressed over time! :D also funny and neat to see Spike... Or his hand anyway ;)
Thanks for the great tutorial!
I will be watching this one over and over. Love it.

You have raised the bar again Teresa! Great video! thanks!
How thrilling to see this wonderful video. Thank you. I can't wait to try something.
Woo hoo! Can hardly wait to try it. Thanks a million.
Very pretty canes. I’d never of thought to put that pretty colored cane under the translucent cane but it turned out so pretty. I just don’t know how you do it. Guess I’m afraid to try things for fear of wasting clay but I guess you have to to find out.
So simple yet so elegant! Covering a wine bottle

Beautiful finished pieces as always Teresa. Thank you for the simplicity of the cane, I think I can even do this one, haha.
This is so fun!! I’ve always loved the idea of translucent clay, but the things I’ve made so far have been a bit underwhelming. But I’m gonna keep on keepin’ on! lol Thanks for the inspiration, T!

Hi Teresa
I love your videos, you fascinate me the way you keep your work so clean and tidy, and I must say you are responsible for all the items I've made, and sold, I do tell people on buying them that it was you who was my teacher, but I've not made anything for a while due to health, I got all my clay out to pick up where I left off and went blank, I made a blue/ white Skinner blend plug and froze, could you suggest a video on how to pandorify it please, it's giving me a headache.
Blessings
Gaynor.x
Thank you, Gaynor. I'll bet your blue and white cane would make a pretty monochrome cane. Try this video with your plug instead of the translucent and see how you like it.
What a great tutorial, thank you, I will be trying this for sure.❤️
Very elegant!
Such an inspirational video, love it!!!❤❤❤
Just love it, Teresa! Thank you.
Beautiful items you’ve made!
Gorgeous I love it ... I love the cane you laid beneath the translucent too I hope see a tutorial on that :)
Very nice.
Неожиданно красиво! Браво!
I just failed in love with translucent polymer clay. Thank you for the video
Thank you so much, I am learning so much from you.
WOW...WOW...WOW!!! 👍
Amei Teresa!!!!
Fabulous

You've probably covered this, but how thick are the different settings of your pasta machine? Thank you!

Important, where did you get the board or glass that you are doin you Pandorafication on?
That’s by We R Memory Keepers and it’s in the scrapbook section at Michaels.

Fabulous Teresa, thank you so much for this amazing video tutorial. When you bake the whole piece do you bake it on cornflour/cornstarch?
Theresa how or what do you add to get the 3D effect or depth of the translucent when doing like a honeycomb effect?
