I know what that’s like and sometimes they act like they don’t need your forgiveness because they claim they did nothing wrong...
But I’ve learned that forgiveness is for me. God doesn’t need the other parties involved to cooperate for Him to heal my brokenness. He just needs me to do my part of choosing to accept His gift of forgiveness to extend to those who’ve hurt me and then He will do the rest. If those involved choose to genuinely repent and make things right later on (as I pray they will), then praise the Lord! God is a God of relationships and restoration but God {who IS LOVE} doesn’t force anyone...
I’ve also learned that forgiveness is a process because the enemy wants us to be bitter and live in the past because he has that problem and he has no peace so he seeks to steal our peace... Satan does this by constantly bringing “the truth” of bad memories and choices made to steal our peace and joy. An important way to fight this arrow or dart is to keep surrendering these poisonous memories to God and each time I do that, the pain decreases until at last it’s gone! [shield of faith]
Then the only reason I bring up the past is to share a valuable lesson or encourage someone going through a similar struggle so they’ll be strengthened to hang on a little longer!
P.S. “Forgiveness doesn’t always mean or require complete trust again. Sometimes you need healthy boundaries and consequences in place.”

The fact that her ‘friend’ - a woman nonetheless - was involved in this horrific story makes it 10x worse.
It happens all the time now with ladies trying to recruit for their pimps. Those girls are beautiful , have nice cars and clothes. You always have to question everything.

I’m so thankful for all those times my parents made me tell them exactly 1) what friend’s party I was going to 2) what their address was and 3) if their parents would be there. My dad always insisted on picking me up (if not also on dropping me off), I wasn’t allowed to stay the night, and getting plastered was not acceptable in my house (even though I still did it and then had to try to sober up quick before getting picked up). So so thankful that they were “mean” “annoying” and “intrusive” while I lived with them because I was too young to know better and needed my parents to make the judgment calls that kept me safe.
If a pimp truly wanted you, he could have tricked you into it.
This made me tear up a bit because my parents do that all the time. I couple days ago my friend invited me to hang out with her and a bunch of my other friends. She lived in a area that my parents don’t like that much. My mom was on the verge of letting me go and was trying to convince my dad but he told me no. He wanted to meet my friends first and what not. I told him he can meet them when he drops me off, but he said with time, not right there and then. I thought that was unfair, considering that we use to live in that area and my friends are genuinely good. My parents and even my older brother are strict like this. Of course I know they have good intentions, but this comment made me realize even more because this is exactly what they do.
Bro when you're chewing gum and putting perfume on you and drinking water to sober up as quick as possible. Then your parents pick you up and you have to concentrate on walking like a sober person.😂😂😂👐🏼 Those were the days🤣😭

Yes, a pimp can trick you, but your parents need to do whatever it takes to find you, even if they never do but end up saving a lot of girls in the meantime.

Second, she got into a club and had drinks...and she was in school with this girl. The club just let them in? I doubt she was 18. Just her mannerisms, someone who’s been through this wouldn’t act like this in general.

yeah & like I don't think praising someone's strength when it comes to things like this is always a good thing. it's completely normal to be absolutely shattered by something like this & not everyone is as lucky to make it out. for some people, healing takes decades or never happens completely & those victims are no less valuable or valid.

With God, forgiveness, anything is possible. U won't believe forgiving what horrible things horrible ppl did to u & then having the heart to be able to forgive w/ God's love in your heart, I've been there.
Most people scoff at forgiving others... without realizing forgiveness is not about other people. Forgiveness is for yourself. It’s letting go and releasing toxic energy that’s been burdening you. This lovely young lady described it perfectly when she described the amount of weight lifted from her. Forgiveness is about taking back your power. When you hold unforgiveness in your heart, you’re allowing those people who wronged you to still hold power over you. With forgiveness, you are set free. It is entirely 100% for YOU, no one else.

I was trafficked as a very young child (4-11) by my own father. That is why I started my own CZcams channel of my life. I have been through so very much more and I want to inspire others to never give up or give in.
A guy I thought I knew got arrested this year for trafficking girls in this same way. I never thought I’d meet someone in that lifestyle but traffickers and trafficking victims really are right up under your nose, hiding in plain sight. I still don’t know if he was trying to groom me or not

Catapillargirl 20 having traumatic events after traumatic events over a period of time during your lifetime causes complex PTSD.. It is not easy to become aware of what is fully going on and your are conditioned to believe that ratting is the worst thing possible and you get threaded that your family will be killed. It’s sad but true. This happened to me. I am a survivor too.

It happened to my friend and her father is a police officer... This is way more complex than you think. These girls fall in love with their pimp and stay there, or they move all over the country.
As a single parent l was watchful where my daughters friends were after my divorced l was there for my girls and l thank God that he give me wisdom to not to trust no one l am sorry this happened to this beautiful human being thank you for sharing your life story what happened to you God bless you and your family

Something alarming is that human-trafficking romance is now a thing. I wish I was kidding. EL James, wrier of Fifty Shades, has a new book about how romantic it is to have a man be aroused by the nightmare-screams of a trafficking survivor that he can send back.
The point is bad, but at least it is educating people about trafficking. Does it recruit more sadists or educate more nice johns of the horrors they are inflicting.

This can happen to any young girl these days, we as adults need to sit down with our daughters and talk about human trafficking and to advise them that this CAN happen. An open lot be of communication is key.

You are so brave and strong. I have been struggling for nearly a year after a traumatic experience. I am having a hard time forgiving two women who were in positions of power over me for two months. The psychological scars they left have really affected my life. I experience PTSD and intrusive memories from that time. Thank you for sharing this. It gives me hope that one day I will have inner peace. I know that my trauma doesn't define me, my strength does. It is truly amazing to hear about your journey, you have come out of something horrible as someone so wise, courageous and powerful. Keep sharing your story.

This happens ALL THE TIME in Ontario and all over Canada I personally know at least 20 girls this happened to...I can tell u horror stories, I've seen things ppl only see in movies. I was stuck in 'the game' for 6 yrs...

Apparently nc makes the rankings. I'm not gonna even deny that there's crazy sh that goes on. But that doesn't mean i was ever involved.

Same here. Mine let me go out but they equipped me with so much knowledge and street savvy that I was literally prepared for anything. This was even in the days before having my own mobile. I'm a grown woman in my late 30s and even today I still use their tips.

Your family is on your side and will fight for you. "Go ahead and go try to kill my family" would be the appropriate response.
@@idontevenhaveapla7224 coming from someone who was a teen runaway/homeless for almost a year, the best advice is:
Trust no one. Ever.
Listen when something about someone makes your parents nervous.
Don't go to unfamiliar places, especially with unfamiliar faces.
Never accept drinks from anyone. Don't do drugs, they love to get teens hooked to incapacitate them. Besides, they may not be truthful about what they give you.
*Trust your instincts.* If it feels wrong, it probably is.
Never let anyone intimidate you or bully you into something you're not comfortable with. Only you control you, if they think otherwise they'll keep trying.
It's better to risk being unpopular than to risk your life. Think about what you might really be giving up.
Talk to your parents every day, and even when you're pissed at each other tell them you love them. Good luck kid, be smart and you'll be ok.

What I need to know is HOW to forgive??? When you don’t feel these people deserve forgiveness or have earned it. HOW do you forgive??

I don't know how to forgive. Is it simply letting go of the anger and hurt? If so, how do you do that? I wish I could forgive myself and all those who have harmed me but I honestly don't know how.
thatonegamergirl 11 forgiveness is about accepting that you have emotions attached to wrongs people have done to you, but just telling yourself what’s done is done, the past only effects your future if you allow it to. And if you allow those hurts to stick with you now, then those people still have control over you, and they don’t deserve another minute of thought. To forgive is to shed weight you’ve been carrying. It’s not for them, it’s for you.

If someone did something to me in bad faith I would never forgive but try to forget... if that makes sense?

They probably were but couldn't find her. There are many people who go missing every day.
@@trinitylivingston1286 600,000 in the U.S. go missing every year. Many are found, but NOT all, law enforcement can't keep up and families can only do so much in search efforts. It is heart breaking and devastating, along with being a major epidemic.
@@warflowersociety yeah, I go to Wal-Mart alot and they have the missing kids on a board above the drinking fountain so whenever I'm sipping from it, I look at the board and feel sad/numb about it. A mixture of ages, as young as 3 and as old as 60+. Very sad.
@@trinitylivingston1286 I'm working on an alert system that works with the missing persons databases and includes the amber and silver alerts for public transportation facilities. It includes the name of the city, state, country and time, as well as a location ID for those that may be in transit and not have any idea where they are. Far too many posters that take time for families to get out, to the right geographic area and so many they are hard to share on social media platforms. (ALL VERY HELPFUL but more can be done to save lives and reach victims/potential targets before they become victims or go missing for good.)

4:38 seconds into the video and I couldn't help but cry. Her experience sounds so terrifying and twisted. It's so sad people go through this on a daily basis. We have to be the ones to change this.
