He's clear destroyed his nose internally, unfortunately he is an addictive personality, yet as much as that has caused him major issues with gambling and drug abuse, I'm sincerely hoping it will be his saviour, the help that the Liv Golf will give him to infinite support to bring his life and game up to the high standard, that will be addictive to him, playing great golf and a living clean lifestyle will exactly what he needs. I sincerely hope so anyway.

I was at the 2008 Ryder cup in Kentucky. It was the most amazing round of golf I’ve ever watched. To make 6 birdies in 14 holes in the Sergio beat down was awesome.

Agree with you 💯 AK was a breathe of fresh air because he was one of the boys. Let’s be real here. The PGA is too dry. Enters AK, nice kid, gifted golfer and was unapologetic with his style. He played aggressive, shanks it in the woods then goes for it and back in play. Also head you on the edge of your seat. He was relatable on how he carried himself but had god given talent. I’m totally rooting for AK.

I don’t normally watch pod casts, but i am with you. AK deserves his chance at redemption, he is super talented what ever his troubles. There are less talented saints on tour, so come give AK his chance.

Anthony Kim brought so much joy to the game of golf in his young playing career. He's been through some stuff, obviously, but it looks like he's got his priorities straight and I'll be rooting for him. This is the first time I've paid attention to a LIV tournament. Whether LIV has the right intentions or not it is very cool to see the guy play and get an opportunity without an insane amount of pressure.

Although he looks much older than 38 I hope he plays well and succeeds. He was a hell of a player. He was on fire at the Ryder Cup where he beat Sergio.
I probably dont love the game if not for AK. Was my favourite player back then. I play his nike blades to this day

I feel everyone writing him off hasn't thought that he could of been fine tuning his game for the past 5 years or so on a simulater hidden away from the public and comes out and kicks butt. I know here's to hoping but would be awesome to see him up top of the pilon at the end of the weekend. I knee he would make a return to golf sooner or later. Liv gave him that chance. As long as he is happy it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.

Lot of people think that a 76 in competitive golf is the same 76 they shoot at their local course off the white tees. Pro competitive golf
Is a hard grind. Luckily his short seems to be in good order. Seems he doesn’t have that confidence yet to really swing through ball. Could see he had some quick pull swings when he saw trouble on the right when hitting his drive. I think he showed a bit of improvement after that horror bogey stretch which has Traci led him both days so far. Actually played and guided it out over his last 11 holes. LIV is the perfect platform for him to return, play himself in and then see where he goes from that. Any sport you been away for for a period of time is totally hard. You see people make comebacks and it’s like when they used to be able to put the foot down to accelerate there’s nothing under the gas pedal at the moment. Think he might shoot under par at hong Kong though. Go AK

Yep! I also think his daughter was a big motivating factor. 12 years away and making a comeback at the highest level after going thru “something dark” … takes a lot of guts to attempt. Is a great example for his daughter to look up to - fear nothing and never stop pursuing what you love.
I'm a huge AK fan, but if you don't go into the dark side, there is nothing else to talk about. This is a cautionary tale. Can't wait for the documentary because I'm pretty sure it will be about.............................."cautionary tales". Other than that, big thumbs up

I just hope he is happy and we see him happy at the end of the season. That will be a success for what he’s been through. I think him being happy will also produce his best golf. Being miserable will bring out the worst- IMO.
AK injury is a example of what happens to many pros. PGA tour pro life is never smooth,,,,Another reason to join LIV, contract, no cuts, 3 rounds,14events .
I wish AK all the best in his comeback. I don't harbor any illusions that he's going to be a top player, but if he can at least be competitive, the game will be the better for it.
I predicted that he would shoot in the mid to high 70's. I never understood the fascination with him. He's been out of competitive golf for too long. It was a P.R. signing by LIV.

He is laser focused with a fire, staying healthy he will be at the top. He wins with torn ligaments. I know him well, he has an incredible passion to win
We need AK and Paul Azinger back in The Ryder Cup. Competitors. We have rich kids now that seem to lack fire. Best line from Kim in the Ryder Cup..........saying to Azinger..........."told you I was gonna beat that ass". That's what we need.

You can have bias for AK, but still report the True story of why AK basically was banned from ever playing the pga tour many years ago from winning a law suite….and no I don’t know the back story of why he looks so different nowadays his face has aged substantially …did he have a drug problem?

AK had an insurance policy that paid him out $20m if he sustained career ending injuries, which he did. Thats why he stopped playing, its well documented, not sure what "demons" you keep referring to

I wish golfers like Dustin Johnson and Kim were more willing to discuss their personal struggles. It would send a positive message. Unfortunately golf has always tried to sell this image that it is a game that builds integrity beyond that of other sports. You can guess why golf pursues this Lilly white image.

All the majors should disinvite all LIV golfers. LIV is dreadful rubbish. PGA tour significantly weakened. If Rahm and co cant play majors they'll either do a deal with the pgatour much more quickly or return to it when their contracts run out. The more money they earn, the less cuts they face, the lower the stakes.
He won all of 3 times on the tour. Why does everyone keep acting like this guy won 6 majors, and 20 PGA tournaments? After he quits mid-round when he's well on his way to an 89 tomorrow, what will the media use as the excuse then? He was a good, not great player. People liked him more because his off the field stuff than actual golf skills.

Nobody is acting like he won 6 majors. AK was a buzzsaw. He injected life into the Ryder Cup team, he still holds the most birdies at ANGC. He had a very high ceiling, then he just disappeared, so there is some mystery.
