I'm from south America as a child I grew up listening to anansi's stories told by the elders at night in a yard with collective wooden homes that belonged to slave descendants. Some of These houses still stand till this day some old and abandoned. I Never knew that these stories originated in Ghana...but then again now one really knew their true African family histoiry because slavery.

Thank you so much for These stories on Sunday!
But especially because now I have learned about the ant secretions that harden the soil!🌟
I have wondered why I see these barren small patches of clay, surrounded by the tallest grasses, and weeds, (as they call other plants)....on this small patch of virgin, seemingly barren, unwanted soil, that now I 'own'.
I will be sure to use that area as described in this story, nwhen I build my dream house, with the surrounding earth and dried grasses🕊️🙏🕊️

Thank you for another goody, Mike! Ms. Sands did a wonderful narration. Sadly, she died 3 years later. Mr. Peters, as usual. used his commanding voice to narrate beautifully.
