THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE AMERICA IS HEADING FOR A SECOND REVOLUTION. THE KIND OF REVOLUTION IS THE QUESTION. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. KING ORGANIZED THE POOR PEOPLES MARCH ON WASHINGTON, D. C. WHEREAS BROTHER MALCOLM X BELIEVED THAT NO REVOLUTION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD WAS EVER A PEACEFUL REVOLU-TION, AND THAT NO PEOPLE HAVE EVER GAINED RESPECT FROM THEIR ENEMY WITH-OUT FIGHTING FOR IT. NOW THESE TWO GREAT BLACK MEN ARE DEAD. WE WHO STILL LIVE, MUST WAIT AND SEE JUST WHAT COURSE THE SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION WI LL TAKE, AND WI LL THE LEADERS OF OUR GREAT NATION, HEAR THE CRIES OF THE NATIONS POOR BLACKS, WHITES, PUERTO RICANS AND AMERICAN INDIANS IN THE GHETTOS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. - Lp Liner Notes

Malcom X was the truth.❤️🖤💚🙏🏾🌹.
We should have followed Brother Malcolm X
Nobody wanted to die.
Still can
@@KtotheG your people are dying anyways. You never know, someone in your family might be next.
@@theunknownone18 You sound real hurt by the truth. Are you a man or a mouse?
@@KtotheG Are they not still dying?
On retrospect .. Malcolm stood his ground .by all means necessary. He said we're cool... until you put your hands on me. Dr. King turned the other cheek.
No matter what style they used they both were murdered. The end result was the same. Death.
@@icesport2107 that's the price of freedom... sadly to many of us not willing to die for our freedom... unless as malcom said the govenormen tell us to die
@@andrewpyane8571 We will fight for the government and some of us will die. But if we fight the government we all will be slaughtered. We do not want to be slaughtered. We want to live. The Indians tried to fight the government and they lost. And they were put on the reservation. For us it will not be a reservation but annihilation. Black people want to live. So all we can do is complain, leave the USA, protest or take it to the courts. And hopefully we might win something. The whites are ready to fight we are not. We are too busy killing each. Sure you have to fight for your freedom but there's no freedom in death.
MLK figuratively led us to a burning house and Malcolm X all he did was just talked about the stuff that he saw
@@icesport2107they still live, you can kill the messenger but the message, ideology and concepts live on.
Will always ride with Malcolm X. I cant just let some one beat on me and just stand there praying and singing.
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a life for a life!
Turning the other cheek may work for some I respect that but I was raised to fight or perhaps die for my GOD given right to be free where do I sign up for Revolution
@@percy3489don't sign up for it just go and revolt. Negroes love to sign up for something and that's all they want is a paper trail.
I love our great leaders but malcolm is the best of all time I can spend all time listening to malcolm extremely intelligent highly educated his knowledge his wisdom. I really don't have enough words to describe malcolm rest in eternal peace.✊✊✊✊👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you thank you reelblack for educating us about this beautiful people
I don’t think he was educated. He is my favorite person of all time. The greatest loss of the 20th century. I am just saying i don’t think he went to school.
I can listen to these speeches all day because they mean so much to those with a conscience and a quest for truth and justice. Thank you, Mike.
Mr King helped out a lot. I am glad I was born in this time period. The new school don't understand the real struggle. But I prefer Malcolm x.
We owe them both , we owe our ancestors,we owe our selves we owe Tulsa where we finally made it and they killed and burned people. Jealousy
We was on top.Repeat that history.

I really enjoyed this so much. What an excellent selection. Putting the thoughts and ideas of these two men side by side is so revealing. Although Martin and Malcolm may have complemented one another, kind of like "good cop/bad cop" social change agents, clearly only Malcolm truly understood what real and lasting change required. Just hearing Malcolm speak kindles a bonfire in my chest. I love him dearly, and I thank you so much for allowing us to hear him speak.
So true! Totally agree.
Dr King and Minister Malcolm are both my heroes. I love listening to the lectures
Mr × 4 me
@@terrenceperkins5282 I thought Dr. King came around to Mr. X's way of thinking in the end but am having trouble finding anything to back it up.
@@cbriangilbert1978 🤔
@@cbriangilbert1978quite the opposite. It was Malcom who changed to MLK’s ways
MLK was a communist. White liberals/communist owned MLK and the Civil Rights movement. Black people should have followed Malcolm’s lead.
Malcolm X All Day
I feel Malcolm X's words with more conviction and purpose without any veil of doubt behind them. To this very day.
They Both Moved People Whenever they Spoke!!!! And Had A Strong& Passionate Deep LOVE for There People!!!! Much Love&Respect to Them BOTH!!!!!!
Brother Malcolm had truth and power in his voice and no fear and light Brother Martin literally spoke with fear he had a shaky voice that was haunting in many ways i only stand with brother Malcolm ✔️
I’m right dere wit u brova, have a blessed one
Facts
I don't think you should be talking smack about a man who was marching on the frontline in racist Southern states like Dr King. Even if he was ill informed, his bravery and manhood can never be questioned.
How old was your daddy in 1968?...
Malcolm X was a genius.
@@blaquenguni9249 lol Martin said I let my people into a burning house, I fear dey cannot escape. So tht man for all his efforts, I came out da vagina smelling smoke
It wasn’t fear in his voice at all. It’s just he was a southern Baptist preacher. That’s how many of them spoke. Malcolm talked more plainly and straight forward and appealed more to the grassroots.
Mr. King was a Visionary. He had Ideals that he hoped others would share. His Ideals were noble. But he was asking a culture that had just finished enslaving an ethnic group solely based on their skin color, to have compassion. This is a quality ( Compassion) that would have prevented institutional slavery in the first place.
Mr. Malcolm X was very pragmatic. He saw a horrible past and a horrible present. He did not see how the same Entity ( The American Nation and Culture ) would make such a major change simply because you asked or pleaded.
Both views have their merits. But they also have their weaknesses. "By any means necessary" can be destructive to the human spirit and can lead to Apathy and Ruthlessness and "Dreaming" (I Have a Dream) can be delusional and unrealistic and can lead to masochism (victimhood) and powerlessness. There needs to be melding of the two ideals. Taking the best out of each. The fight is to gain our total Humanity without losing parts of it in the process.
THANK YOOU REELBLACK FOR GIVING US A THINKING ABOUT TO WHAT WE'RE THINKING ABOUT!!!🤔😎😎🖤🖤🖤👂🏿👂🏿👂🏿

Their way. They were both very necessary. Why choose we got the best of both. What did we give?? Nothing we’re still ignorant more so now than then.
Powers that "BE" knew both leaders would eventually merge into a powerful force, thus they had to be eliminated.

We were blessed to have them both.
I love the balance that these two presented, pacifism for those who didn't want violence and self-defense for those who would stave off the violence.
Dr. King said, "Let us have a seat at the table, we are asking peacefully for a seat at the table.
Brother Malcolm said, "Let us have a seat at the table, if you lay hands on us as we request a seat at the table, we reserve the right to defend ourselves against those who would threaten us with violence."
You could either deal with the pacifists who want to be civil as they pursue justice or you could deal with the militants who weren't afraid to move some furniture.
Both sides were necessary, because both sides balanced out the approach to achieving some abstract notion called, "Freedom..."
Brotha Shabazz was actually saying we want our own table without interference from folks at the other table. But knowing the violent nature of those at the other table, he made it clear that he would defend his table by any means necessary.
Malcolm all day. No sell out
Dr. King Was A Very Theatrical Speaker, But Malcolm X Gave It To You Straight!
It’s hard to listen to Martin for some reason. I know he regretted the stance he took
Martin loved humanity. Yet he didn't understand the situation. He didn't want total death of his people.
Blessings🙏🏾🙏🏾
They have both fought and died for our freedom, now it is our turn to defend our freedom. Some people are afraid of dying trough resistance, ignoring that the likelyhood of dying by accepting the V.A.X.X.X.X is a lot higher!

Malcolm -Intellectual
Another great video my friend. Thank you for such great and inspiring work. Please consider more from h. Rap Brown and Kwame taure (Stokely Carmichael). Both of whom followed more of the ideology of Malcolm X and the red book. They also, like chairman Fred, understood how capitalism inadvertently created a oppressed society for all types of minorities. As it still unfortunately does today. Although I don't agree with communism or every part of socialism, I understand that the capitalism in the US is based mostly on the military industrial complex. Meaning we prosper as a nation from war. Whether thru steel for weapons or technology for advanced warfare. Instead of funding education and unifying programs, we dump billions into international destruction. While our less fortunate communities are being exploited and systematically oppressed. Simple examples are the way public assistance is given not to help struggling families overcome financial hardship, but only provided if the family is broken into a single parent household with the other parent placed on child support. Then taken immediately when the parent makes 1$ above poverty level even though they haven't risen above need for assistance yet. They accumulate a debt, get a job to get over the need but lose all benefits before they can build out of the hole so they are left destitute with the job with a lose lose choice of staying in the unemployment situation because it's more beneficial for feeding and housing their children than the underpaying job they find. While we as a nation judge that parent and accuse them of playing the system instead of considering the options they have. I'm luckily one of the few single dad's that make enough to take care of my daughter and I without assistance, but the first year of raising my daughter alone with a career and overpriced daycare, I understood how hard it could be for others in that situation if they weren't lucky enough to have the type of career opportunity that I fortunately have. But this nation will pay billions sending a graduate to war or jail but hesitate to pay that price to send them to an educational program to advance their career opportunity. The circle from oppression during segregation and the civil rights movement hasn't been addressed and broken still to this day. Rich still inherited riches while the poor inherited debt. This system is broken.
SCP FOUNDATION: Succinct analysis worth looking into 🤗
The system is not broken! It never was. It's functioning the way it was always meant to function.

100%,Malcolm X, Cuba Revolution was blood, and Cuba :,help our brothers from Africa ,but the Wite man is dangerous. And still dangerous. BLACK POWER.
Malcom x didnt even get to hit his peak. If he lived in todays world we would be livin in utopia by now. all the knowledge he wouldve had that he didnt have back then imagine what he would do if he knew what i did.
i love brother martin und i love brother malcolm more.
The both died for your rights, both needed for the time. Place Malcom in the south and Martin in the north it would have been a different story. God and I loved them both. Don’t fall into a debate of two great Black men. God Bless
King came to Chicago and Malcolm X came to Birmingham the weekend MLK wrote the letter from a Birmingham jail, Malcolm X did get to meet with Mrs Coretta Scott King and Malcolm gave a speech at a church at the partitioners request.
Africa is getting this now 50yrs later. Kamel Toe Harris went to Africa wanting to get the African leaders to accept same sex marriage none of them did. It took Adrican nations almost two decades to get the aids epidemic under control and in decline they're not willing to go backwards. She didn't go to Israel, Saudi Arabia or other Middle East nations.

Another great speech may be found here: czcams.com/video/X7MtydR-fiI/video.html. This is a powerful speech by former Prime Minister of Grenada, Maurice Bishop. My father found it yesterday and shared it with me and now I share it with you.
Brother Martin was very wrong about segregation…..All throughout the Old Testament the Most High told his people to stay with their own Tribe……Makes me wonder if the Most High called him to preach at all.
In the beginning MLK was blindly walking into a hornet's nest but wasn't fully aware of it's total magnitude and scope, but did not shy away, simultaneously freedom rides and lunch counter sit ins were going on basically all over the south.
I love when we put two great so called Negro leaders pitted against each other. At the time of MLKs death, he was more aligned with Malcolm's idealism then not. The only thing MLK clinged to was the notion of NON VIOLENCE even after young revolutionaries such as formerly known as Mr. Carmichael began to lean towards Malcolm's idealism of self defense in the face of racial violence. Some Black folks today won't even admit that Malcolm was indeed anti Imperialistic was also anti capitalistic. But go off SMH. We should be studying both as equals. Not pitting them against each other like a Hip Hop verzus.

Either way they were both killed for the same reason by the same people

Malcolm X with his impractical and unrealistic ideas and vision lived in a dreamworld, million miles distance from reality. Utopia. Independent state for black people inside the US.. Even wildest dreams have their limits.
At last, someone with some common sense 👏. Very impractical and unrealistic at that time for sure.
Really??? Who Was A Bigger Dreamer Than Dr. King??? He Has Been Reduced To A Slogan: "I HAVE A DREAM", Based On His 1963 March On Washington Speech!!! Which Was The Biggest Fantasy Of All!!! The Bottom Line Is This: Both The Afro American (Blacks), And The Native American (Indians) Have The Same Enemy In Common!!! And That's The White Man (Forked Tounge Devil)!!!
And what's your dream?
That wasn't MALCOLM thinking on his own. When he started thinking on his own...That's the MALCOLM we are talking about.
