Everyone who hates on Rome is just mad because he's doing what every kid who plays guitar and discovered weed wants to do. Play in fucking Sublime. I would kill to be him.
This performance was amazing. Yeah it sucks that Bradley is gone and people probably will say he’s irreplaceable. However I feel like continuing the legacy and letting people see Sublime (especially anyone who got into them after he passed) was the right move and if ANYONE was going to step in to honor Brad I’m glad they chose ROME….100% support this!!!

Rome is an unbelievably talented singer. I can understand the diehard Sublime fans who have a hard time listening to the new lineup without Bradley, but the dishonor would be in not carrying on the name. His family should take heart in knowing that there will never be another Bradley and his creative genius will never be overlooked.
I would truly think that the die hard Sublime fans have a problem holding back the tears when they close their eyes and listen to the music. Any comparison to Bradley is ultimate flattery and just a comfort to a forever open wound created when Bradley left this world. If you wanna really have a cry about it, just think of Eric as he's playing the classic Sublime songs. Think of what he carries around with his best friend gone and hearing his reincarnation through Rome's amazing talented vocals.

Such an amazing song I rode my bike from Willow street in Long Beach to Huntington Beach to visit my girl and riding along the bike trails on the beach and listening to this song while looking at the ocean was amazing.

Long Beach in the house ... I like Rome
Really this is what happens with a lot of bands. People leave and new people join. Bud is gone unfortunately and so is brad. R.I.P but now rome and josh joined. The important thing is that they're moving forward and making new songs with the sublime name and feel to them. As long as they're performing new songs they could even make something really good. Who knows? But if they just redoing the same songs they won't go anywhere. I can understand performing the old ones because they're all good.
