For those who have not heard Miho (bass) has left the band! The rest of the band is taking a hiatus. Japan is more or less in covid shutdown so may be a while before we get an update.
There several hundred all female rock/metal bands in Japan right now. SO: Band Maid (Freedom), Nemophila (Dissension), Mary's Blood (Marionette), Aldious (We Are), Bridear (Boody Bride), Unlucky Morpheus (Black Pentagram) and there are more. HAVE FUN, but Strap In!!

There will not be a Lovebites song you will dislike. They have a way of interweaving various metal styles into their songs. Thank you for your reaction. We are all waiting with baited breath to know the future of Lovebites. There is a new DVD/Blu-ray being released soon but as for future live shows and song material, it is fingers crossed.
They will be back. Just believe.
Hammer of Wrath - Live from Zepp Diver City is a must watch too! And Thunder Vengeance from the same show. Basically anything from Zepp Diver City is pure Lovebites gold!

"Lovebites - Edge of the World (live)" is also a great song to react to
She is Tiny, Haruna is only 4'9 lol. Her kit is custom so that she can reach her Cymbals. This song is from their Five of a Kind Blu Ray, which had a run time of just about 2 hours and 19 songs. She literally played the double bass for nearly 2 hours straight. Im pretty sure they had oxygen and fire extinguishers on standby for her lol
Haruna is a beast on drumns.and by the way only miyako is above 5' , asami is 4'10" and miho and Midori are more or less in the sane height.

@@christopherlidster3918 just what i said ,i think miyako is the only above 5' but i dont know miho's height but i think miho is taller than midori , but midori uses high heels with 4 or 5 inches.

swan song is a perfect song to go to next - shows the amazing versatility of this band and if you get the one with the chopin piano prelude you get to see miyako's incredible skills

Absolutely love these ladies. They are my favorite band! Talent is unreal and gifted and they were born to play together despite Miho, bass. leaving. For Swan song try and find video with the piano prelude opener. Thank you for reacting to this video.

If you do Swan Song you need to start with Miyako solo Chopin Revolutionary Etude that's the piece she played that leads before Swan Song

The band is 'temporarily' in hiatus.

When Miyako pulls out the Les Paul it’s special. Miyako does piano, organ, keys on backing tracks. A nod to Lord from Deep Purple.
I don't think that a Les Paul, I believe its one of the guitars she built during the shutdown Japan. Looks like the one she showed on her "Guitar video". Also she backed by Dean, so unlikely she would use another brand in concert.
@@outwest1014 Nope, it's a real Gibson Les Paul Standard, I have one with almost the same finish. Gibson would not like someone building a guitar and slapping a Gibson logo on it, especially someone of Miyako's caliber. I don't know what kind of deal Miyako has with Dean, but there's probably a stipulation in her endorsement that let's her use it for a few songs. I will also guarantee that she uses it in the studio a lot.
@@guitarzen5999 Check her CZcams channel, the show on her guitars. Dean has issued a Miyako signature model, it's the Vee guitar.
Etude/swansong is what you need to look for, not just swan song. The video with Chopin's etude piano intro by Miyako is the best version of swan song.
Sadly, they just announced they are taking a pause due to the departure of their founder and bassist, Miho. Their existing catalogue is mind-blowing, though of course we are praying they find a way to keep going. Love this song for the two completely contrasting guitar solos.

when you do Nightwish you may also want to check out Epica also a symphonic metal band led by a female singer Simone Simons The lead singer for Nightwish teams up with her on the song Sancta Terra live at Retrospective.
No moshing at a Lovebites event. They are white hat positive message metal. This is about as dark as they get.
The women would be extremely saddened if anyone got hurt at their events.
