Darkness and Light. Yin and Yang. Miyako and Midori. The contrast between those two solos is mind-bending. Miho's bass line during the break is must magical. Haruna goes ham on the transitions, and of course Asami is in command of the crowd. I was hooked on Lovebites after a few songs, but this is the one that convinced me they are among the all time greatest.

If I had to pick a favorite sub genre of metal, it's thrash. Exodus is my favorite pure thrash band. I say pure because Lovebites is simply pure metal (even though they are a power metal band, they are so much more), blending various sub genres together. Like yourself, I have run out of superlatives for Lovebites.
This song, and in particular this performance, is now my all time favorite thrash song. I have to slap myself to make sure I'm sane. I mean Exodus, Slayer, Testament, and so much more thrash I have listened to over the decades, and this song just stands tall. It's heavy as f&^k, but it's played so pristine with no distortion or growls. The solos are so well crafted it's mind blowing. And to bring it down with Miho and then Miyako is a stroke of thrash genius. It's no wonder Lovebites are my favorite band.
