I discovered RRE, & I thinks it’s brilliant; some of the best AI out there; & the ADAC; DTM & WTCC content is awesome 👏 Group 5 is also a blast; & for an old school racer like myself, RRE is one of the few sims, that has G5 in all its brutal glory; great GT3 content, this sim is awesome. Love watching the ‘onboard’ view. It amazes me how little your head moves. I tend to drive like your better half, with a full ‘lean into the corner method’ 🤣

ive recently swapped to raceroom much better racing and cleaner on most occasions than assetto corsa competizione even on rookie server which I am atm
I like eaceroom but I'm having problems with locking brakes and no mirrors? Shame as it's better online than acc..
@@MrPhotobloke you can turn on virtual rear view mirror in the options, as for the braking I'm not sure buddy, maybe a heavy foot haha :) really depends what car you're using and if they have ABS
with no rain, no night, dx9, it's not underrated, but outdated

I love these cars "especially the Mercedes and BMW M3" and raceroom in general! worth trying out the WTCR cars at some point as well, they can be really good fun as well.

Yep, what a ride along, great skills shown throughout that race.
As a real 'High Performance Driving Instructor', only put your hand on the shifter knob immediately before you shift, and immediately back on the wheel after completing the shift. Driving with one hand on the wheel and one on the shifter is a big no-no. Great laps to you Dave from the USA! :)

This is the most fun I've had in a sim for ages. Raced online last weekend, Grids were always almost full. Bagged a couple of podiums in the mustang v8 with laptimes of 1.36 around zolder. Raceroom is certainly my go to sim, I find acc a little to boring racing gt3s all the time.

Dave, I love the late apex manuver at 5:30 minute. You've went out of the turn much faster and it gives you an overtake. Love that!

Awesome driving Dave. I was racing this series a few days ago using clutch and H pattern - Shifts are so fast that I couldn't work my G29 quick enough to keep up.

Best VR experience dude! Bad part is you need a next gen CPU (at least 5600X) and a good GPU (RTX2080) to have descent performance with a Reverb G2. This game is DX9 so it is made for high frequency single core.

You are really an animal at times Dave. Fourth minute or so you add chasing that Audi, the car got squirrelly under throttle and you didn't even breath on the gas. Hard on it....you speak and try to race like a gentleman but under that civilised veneer you have a little savage. Great run!

Could you do a tutorial on setting up trips on Raceroom? I am having trouble with two 27” and a 49” ultra wide. I have tried the newer version setup, not sure what I am doing wrong. I have setup this config for PC2, AC,ACC, and iRacing. Thanks for any help given.

That looks great fun, I don't have room for triples, but my mate wears by them and for me VR isn't quite there, but I still have great immersion with my ultrawide, although I wish I had the room for a triple set up. Keep up the good work, videos are great, oh forgot to ask what headcam do you use

DTM 92 and old DTMs are my favorite racing group. Good driving, BUT DTM 92 had H pattern gearbox, not sequential.
My clutch need adjusted so fucking it into SQ mode was easier. I'm lazy 😁

Nice video again dave. I tried Race Room again tried a few times now I just can't get on with it. Feels really arcade like to me. Alsmosr like project cars 2 tbh. Not sure whether it was setting related or that but yea didn't feel it was my sort of game. But still enjoy watching your content on it as you can see your having loads of fun. Keep it up 🏁
You make it look easy. I find these cars pretty hard to drive, they’re so twitchy. They sound great though especially the mustang. I need to be more smoother in my drive
Try the 92 dtm m3
Its way easier to control than other 92 dtm cars. You May also try dtm 2016, These cars are awesome!
@Dave Cam How did you get your bezel free kit to look perfectly aligned? I have my monitors mm perfect set up wise and perfectly aligned but when i add the bezel free kit it doesn't line up.

Switched from Raceroom to iRacing this year, now i cant feel anything if i drive a curve in Raceroom - for me there is no Option to go back

Well as long as the tire model and netcode are that bad I won’t come back to iracing.
Also the FFB is no match. I guess Its just a preference thing. At least everything works as it should be on Raceroom. I just whish they would get more cars licensed and a proper modern 3d engine.
@@fan2hd277 no Problems with Curbs and fried Tires, i have Seen jumping Cars 2 or 3 Times in 100 Races, but thats no iRacing-Problem, seen them in Raceroom too…
I dont say iRacing is Perfect, but i like it way more than Raceroom or Assetto.
