Wrestling is different on the mat and in tournaments rather than a street fight. If you’re fighting with a dude who doesn’t know how to fight, sure, you’ll probably beat him but if you’re fight a boxer, or an Muay Thai guy, they won’t even give you the chance to get near them. They’re relentless with their quick jabs and powerful punches, and for Muay Thai guys, they’ll get you with kicks too.

People be joking but I’m all seriousness the points he is stressing is mainly the setup and the speed in which you execute the shot, a good set up and a smooth shot executed from muscle memory, can be the difference between a win and a loss even with a bigger, stronger, more skilled opponent. One of the things I love most about it, if you chain wrestle and work to improve at a challenging pace you can beat the studs and surprise everyone.

If your opponents bigger than you, let’s say including height, your going to get one hell of a stuff in the face trying to get that shot in. That’s a lot of time at his lower level so anyone with even reasonable sprawling technique can push this away. Just saying it’s very easy so maybe include that the most important steps are selling a fake or really using his momentum against himself to snap that arm up and create angles. Don’t mean to sound critical on a CZcams short video on fighting bigger opponents lol I’m sure you cover this elsewhere. Thanks for the share!

  • @mardillie

Speed is your friend. Of they're over weight and sloppy . They will get tired eventually but you don't have eventually. Attacks the lower body because if they're too fat to bend down that's your advantage. Snap their feet bones first if they don't have on shoes. If they have on shoes go for the lower leg bones easier to break . Coming from an Radiology. If you can break their bones in their lower legs and feet. You can bring a 400lb man to his knees.

Training like this is just one facet. You add aliveness, motion and resistance as you practice the movements. This should be obvious to those who have trained, and “street fighting school of hard knocks” doesn’t count.

Question if this was a street fight real life scenario and you are on the ground grappling, how will you be able to protect yourself if someone would just stump you on your head or stab you.?

This move isn't ment to take multiple people the answer to ur question lies with yourself and the way you asses a dangerous situation with multiple attackers there is no miracle moved to use when getting jumped you would just have to think on your feet and keep a clear calm mind to think of the situation your in properly...............

BJJ is for 1v1 not multiple. Even in striking you must run at all cost if there is multiple people, you can't strike them down remember your stamina is limited

@@nimbleocelot3063 exactly. My point is, you have better probability if you are mobile, like a boxer , kick boxer, kali or krav maga. The practicality aspect of it.
Bjj is just not practical to me.

Why would you not just got for a single leg? You don’t have to to lift much and it’s a lot more reliable than whatever this is

With this move, it's the same as a sweep single. This move I demonstrated has to be done at speed. But you can sweep single, and go straight to a single leg :)
