- David Leonard of Leonard Design talks of the advantages of Virtual Reality in the design process for architects and designers. Via the use of the HTC Vive headset, Unreal Engine developers platform and Tiltbrush Leonard Design have been able to drop the client directly in to the building prior to its construction. Giving the client this unique perspective to look around the spaces has allowed the team to “work in a faster more collaborative way” which in turn can head off problems in the design before its too late.

Super vidéo j ai passé un bon moment 👍🤌
How accurate is the drawing in virtual 3D? What are the bear parameters of your computer? What are the possibilities for a gradual transition between Revit/ Autocad and VR. Do all of your collaborators have to have VR or the electrician can do his part on a normal 2D/3D plan?
what software are you using to draw in the 3d space... impressive
@Stealthmann is unreal also the best software for vr architecture ??
What is the programe name ? thanks
How realistic are you able to make the lighting?
The lighting and for example it's relation to different types of materials, such as reflection and colours and so on.
I'm studying to become a lighting designer and I'd like to learn to create realistic lighting simulations for VR.
If you look up demos online, you can see videos of extremely realistic looking lighting. You basically can make it look as realistic as you want, as long as you know how and you're willing to put in the time and effort.
Please could you help me. I want use htc vive but I dont know desing program name.
I want use for desing with htc vive's controller
What is the program name for htc vive ? thanks
Looks like they are using UnrealEngine 4 and Google Tiltbrush
Anyone else here from DT?
