I used to have many Alpine products in the mid 90s, Alpine CD players, alarm, amps, and speakers. When Alpine products were made in Japan. I decided to upgrade to the triple disc fold down CD player in 98, that thing was a nightmare,
the cartridge would get stuck, and it skipped whenever I went over a bump. One day while driving on the freeway, and the cartridge didn't eject, I yanked the whole unit out of my center console and tossed it out the window. Haven't had an Alpine product since. Came to find out later, the stereo shop that sold me the unit said they had many complaints ever since Alpine started their production in chyna lol.
Alpine owner since 1994! Sure wish the chip shortage would go away, I have 2 trucks to upgrade my radio's in.
The CD player quit working on my CDA-9813😌😌
I had one of those cassette tape stackers. It used a fiber optic cable to run the changer. I was so scared it would break I ran the cable inside pvc conduit to prevent damage. It was very nice in its day, it had a very good player unit. Sadly it suffered from heat problems in the boot and gave me some trouble.
I just bought a ilx-407, can you do a firmware update so the CD art shows with Bluetooth and add a spectrum analyzer background
Please bring back the 7907, 7390, 7368, and 7618. TIA!

I hope Alpine relelases a new Halo headunit with a digital output and variable volume control. It only makes sense seeing that you have DSP's featurung digital inputs. It would also be nice to see AiNET make a comeback, or at least some way of tuning your DSP all from the Halo's screen.

Be nice if you fix the new ILX-407. Sold units knowing they had issues . Only radio that I know of that can't turn off
Us single din guys are left out. I have a cde149bt but im not letting go of it until they release another flagship single din unit.
Alpine please re-release the 7909 with a copper chasis and pack it full of all the best stuff. Then i can upgrade to a new flagship single din.
