I’m going to give this to my best friend Steve. I took him out fishing one time and not that long into the day, he got a bite and said I think I have a fish! And I said well do you? I just took my youngest son bass fishing for the first time last week and he caught two pound and a halfers and he was super proud. He's now hooked, no pun intended. I had a massive brain hemorrhage on June 2 of this year, it left me slightly wonky but really I was very lucky - (God loves me even with all my warts :) ) Anyway, I had never fished before - You’re gonna be mad about this but I live on a little lake in Olympia, WA (With some decent bass in it) and I only started fishing because I couldn’t work and was getting depressed and needed to find a hobby, so at age 61, I started watching your videos, bought some stuff and started catching fish. It’s really helped me transition from 38 years of chasing bad guys and convincing myself I am a badass and learning a fun hobby that keeps me busy. Hey Tyler, I've started my journey on bass fishing a few months ago. During this journey, my little cousin has taken interest in bass fishing, I've been teaching him the basics of bass fishing and even bought him his first fishing rod. He asks me all the time if I'm able to get him new gear, most of the time I get him something but a lot of the time I'm not able to because i don't have the money. His birthday passed and I didn't get him anything. I really want to see him get his first fish. I want him to have this tackle because i remember when I caught my first fish, how excited I was, and how fast I put that fish back because i was scared of hurting it. I want that for him. Where I live not a lot of the kids fish and I want to change that. I want to pass on something valuable to my little cousin so he can pass it on aswell.
My daughter has become in love with fishing and i will love to be able to start her off with this ...i love fishing and im learning more so i can teach her more ...

Wow I really wished I knew about you year’s ago. I’m 62, retired and now taking up fishing. It was my Doctor that recommended it after I suffered a dissecting Carotic artery. No longer taking blood thinners so I’m not worried about getting cut. So I’m now taking up fishing. The lake is only 18 min from my house. I’m also in Florida, a good state to fish all year. My big move is to fish from a kayak. I never had any luck fishing , Thanks to you, I’m learning and loving it.

I know I’m very late but my dad had a stroke and we had to take him off of life support at a young age for me and I never was able to learn how to fish the way he did. I’ve been looking for a loooong time for someone to teach me or give me insight because it makes me feel closer to him and my grandpa who doesn’t have much time left himself. I went out again and again and again and again and never got a single bite. I don’t want to give up though. I want to catch my first bass and your videos give me hope that I can. My father in law is finally going to be able to retire from his career after several hiccups keeping him stuck at work. He has been dreaming and working for far too long and there is always a hiccup to keep him working. He bought a used bass/ski boat just two months ago and has had nothing but problems after he got it. Hey Tyler, I would give this to my best friend who just learned how to fish. We got him his fishing license and on the first trip he was "hooked". Now he's wondering about what lures to get how to fish them and how to what bait casting is like. My father in law is finally going to be able to retire from his career after several hiccups keeping him stuck at work. He has been dreaming and working for far too long and there is always a hiccup to keep him working. He bought a used bass/ski boat just two months ago and has had nothing but problems after he got it. He has a dream of finally getting the opportunity to be able to learn and teach his grandchildren to fish. well i would give this to my brother, ever since we were kids we'd walk on the pier of a beach watching the fishers and now we live near a lot of fishing lakes and hes more excited than ever, our neighbor gave us a rod and some hooks but we havent been able to get anything else recently and if he got this he'd be more than excited.

THANKS for sharing this information, I'm going to downsize the baits I'll be taking on my fishing trips from now on.
