I've gotten back into it recently, and man is it a game that is as fun as ever. Doesn't feel dated in the slightest, still as funny as ever, and has top notch gameplay and missions. I wish I felt the same way about pre-sequel, but I cannot wait for BL3!
Ikr, borderlands is a special game. The graphics arent a problem because thats the way the game is and people love it. The fact that borderlands 2 was made for last gen ps3 and xbox, with all the graphical technology of 2018 and 2019, imagine what the game will look like then! the one thing I really wanna see in Borderlands 3 is more bank space and a better UI for it like sorting etc cause theres no way that tiny vault is holding alllll my legendary guns and rare stuff..
When my dad anf I play handsome jack collection and we went for the full op8 adventure. We farmed bunker on op2 to get a sham for his gaige. And first ever sham between the both of us was 94%.
Gearbox fixed the drop rate of Roland after the release of Borderlands Remastered. Roland only drops from Handsome Jack, who you need to save-quit farm. If Roland doesn't drop, you need to reset your playthrough.
I was farming a Norfleet from Vermi with a party. It dropped!....Out of bounds. We tried for like 10 or 15 minutes to pick it up, but no joy. Rather disappointing, that.
I don't think we tried. It wasn't that they were in a place that was too high or too far away from the ground or anything. It was in the area where you'd be instakilled by turrets if you went in too far. We tried dashing in, we tried sneaking in. No dice.
dude there is no shame in dling a lewt editor and ramping its level up, people like to pretend like its dishonorable or w/e, but when it comes to super rare shit that is a pain in the ass to farm, just level scale it. (personally i'm not against genning items either, but that is because i do test sets ALOT when i play and like to run a character fully geared in those sets while leveling them to fully test them)

I have no home internet because no providers offer in my area and i cant afford to move (writing this on my cell which has unlimited talk text and data for 55$ but i cant use it as a hotspot) so gibs is not really an option for me, i bought the pre order then special edition then they sold some of the dlc for 30$ each at walmart on discs but there was alot of dlcs they never did this way, i bought torgue, and scarlets (mechromancer came with special addition) but now handsome collection which has all of the stuff finally
There is an alternative place to farm for a Quasar: the Creature Slaughterdome in the Natural Selection Annex. One of the waves has a guaranteed spawn for an Ultimate Badass Varkid, so if you really want a Quasar, you can just play through that wave over and over again until you get it. Don't have the DLC? Just join a lobby run by somebody who DOES own it and have them take you there, and it'll unlock it in your game.
Wait the quasar grenade is rare? I’ve gotten it like 6 times in my first run through of caustic cavern and I just pitched em because I thought they were common
ALL Legendary grenades have always been extremely easy to get, but now they're even easier. Uranus and Cassius are the best bosses to farm and they drop legendary grenade mods all the time (specially Cassius) so now its pretty much a joke (if it wasn't already).
Trey Gardiner I’m pretty sure he was using the weapon effect combining bug unless I’m mistaken. The healing rate was insane and that usually only happens when you use that afaik. Likely the grog nozzle combined with something else. I used to do that back when I played with a friend (back when I had reasonable internet available to me) and I had a great combo that was basically infinite ammo and super health regain, plus something else I don’t remember. Likely something melee oriented since I play Zer0 the most. Now I started over on Steam as I had been playing on 360 for the longest time (then xb1, but I didn’t have the internet to play with friends any more at that point) When we both did the combo glitch it made terra pretty simple. Then we started farming those dragon bosses after a while.
@@trindalas nah, man. It's just a Grog Nozzle and Double Penetrating Unkempth Harold. DPUH does a ton of damage and Grog heals you for 60% of the damage done.
Andrew Guajardo yea I forgot nozzle applies to everything while it’s equipped. I love using it on melee Zer0. Especially if you can get one with a blade.
Last night I was playing in a random server and this Zero joins, drops a whole inventory of legendary weapons and leaves. Everyone was surprisingly civil and took turns looking through the loot and picking out weapons. I got a pair of Norfleets, 2 Dpuhs, a 94% sham, storm front, and some other lower tiers before lagging out.
I've gotten 2 Quasars from the Marcus Mercenary DLC chest the end. I don't know the chances, but it seems to be pretty decent way to get it if you're just doing general farming.
I don’t know if many people do this, but what I do to farm quasars in solo is just repeat round 2 of the creature slaughter dome. On either wave 3 or 4 you always get a guaranteed ultimate badass varkid to spawn. I just set my save file to read only (dashboarding works on console) and farm it.
i remember getting super good at Hyperius on Kreig and nearly 1 shotting him with bloodsplosion overflow damage, then finishing him off. magic missile and sproket lawnchairs made it all possible.
I had a Norfleet (easily my favorite weapon in the game) AND and 94% Sham on my assassin...whose file got corrupted... :') But wow I didn't even realize that the shield components even EXISTED like I thought they just we random cosmetic features... I love that the Unkempt Harold is so easy to farm for and it's so damn good and powerful to use. But considering on how powerful it is, I've always been surprised that GearBox allowed players to farm for and obtain it so easily.
If you’re ok with a hard-quit, the quasar is relatively easy. Go to the WEP and do the circle of slaughter. One of the rounds (4 I think) has a guaranteed badass. If it doesn’t drop, hard quit before you go down. Get back in and start the round over again.

My personal rarest item has been the Volcano. I had decided I wanted to collect all unique sniper rifles, and In all my years of playing this game and farming the warrior, the handsome sorcerer, loot midgets, and tubby/chubby enemies the Volcano was the only one that just refused to drop for me. Until like a couple weeks ago when my bf agreed to play with me, we started new characters, went through normal mode, and on our way to the warrior I'm joking "haha, what if he drops the volcano now, that would be funny". We beat the warrior, call the moonshot and at first, it seems we got no drop, and then the Volcano drops right in bf's feet and he says "hey, got a Volcano" and I legitimately did not believe him at first, because it has been years, over half a decade, since I started playing this game and the Volcano had never dropped for me before. Suffice to say, his presence is now always required whenever I want to farm something because I am 100% convinced he is a lucky charm and he's gonna help me get that new max level 94% Sham
I spent a week ogre farming for my Axton. Used Salvador because he makes the game easy. And Warlord Slog didn’t drop it once. Even if I’d let him level up. He just refused. I then got someone to dupe me it. Felt guilty for a bit, but Axton loved it!

The fire bee was the first legendary that me and my buddy found in borderlands 2 when the game came out. It was in the Car chest at the end of the Bloodshot Ramparts and we argued about who should get it for at least 30 min until my friend just took it because he was sick of arguing. Never saw another legendary until second playthrough Warrior fight :P

I had Triple O spawn twice in about an hour and a half and the second one dropped the Twister. Also, I got a 94% Sham, unfortunately, it was on my level 26 Gaige while I have 4 level 80 characters.
I've played Borderlands 2 since it came out and I have not seen many of the items mentioned in videos like this. I rarely have the time to just farm for items, and now I've finally convinced my step-daughter to join me in co-op, and she definitely does not have the patience to farm items, so I will just have to rely on luck. There's always hope.
Only one I've never gotten is the twister (not counting perfect sham and hide), only have gotten OOO to spawn twice and both times he did not drop it...

am i th only one who loves the pitchfork pared with the Bee? since it has unlisted projectiles it works perfetly for me. i farmed the lvl72 Bunker just fine with the pitchfork as maya
me and my friend were fucking around with the dragon keep alter after we beat the dlc and ended getting a x4 magic missile on the same playthrough we got a x2.
As far as the Terramorphous drops the shotgun drops for me all the time. I actually use the relic a lot, and the pitchfork is awesome for specific things. I've also gotten 4 or 5 of these at a time including the class multiples of the class mods for different characters at the same time. I got my pitchforks elsewhere I believe, but I've gotten several other orange weapons from Terra as well.
I have played 500 hours of BL2 and still haven't found any of them or knew they existed. Yet, I wasn't exclusively farming for a single item for hours.
I got a Quasar from the Ancient Dragons. both fire bee and bouncing bonny from loot midget farming. Update: I got another two one from pyro Pete and one from Marcus Train
Actually before DLC2 Unkempt was the hardest to get to drop because it's loot pools were literally broken, once DLC2 came out ok we had a working loot pool to just buy the damn thing but before was a nightmare
I love coming back to this video every now and then to boost my morale :D I was farming for perfect hide for weeks on my psycho back in the day and then my gf got it on her like 3rd terra kill.
The only use for bouncing bonny is getting a low level slag one with 0 fuse time for raid bosses but you can get the crossfire from the torque dlc instead with 1 second (it's bugged on console and is actually 0 fuse)
Yep I didn't get quasar from ultimate bad as vardquid yesterday but I get one from midget. Question is a normal find a bee in lockers in wildlife exploitation.
not really but technically all base game legendaries can be looted from everything just the drop rates out of certain pools can be worse then trying to farm OP8 cobra with lvl 15 before patch

coulda used the glitch where you die twice in an instant allowing you to out of bounds no problem

For me the norfleet was a lucky drop (took me like 10 trys). Especially with zero hyperius is an easy solo farm ...

am i th only one who loves the pitchfork pared with the Bee? since it has unlisted projectiles it works perfetly for me. i farmed the lvl72 Bunker just fine with the pitchfork as maya
me and my friend were fucking around with the dragon keep alter after we beat the dlc and ended getting a x4 magic missile on the same playthrough we got a x2.
Today I got an op8 cobra while getting a character back to the fast travel from Pete’s bar and I kinda freaked out
I tried to get a norfleet from hyperius and my game crashed before he dropped it
My first sham was a 94% one...never got one again :/
The one and only time I got a 4x magic missile was a play through with you. Good times!

As far as the Terramorphous drops the shotgun drops for me all the time. I actually use the relic a lot, and the pitchfork is awesome for specific things. I've also gotten 4 or 5 of these at a time including the class multiples of the class mods for different characters at the same time. I got my pitchforks elsewhere I believe, but I've gotten several other orange weapons from Terra as well.
Got like a thousand hours in this game and there are still bosses and content I haven't experienced XD

I LITERALLY found the 94 sham 1 hour ago and sold it fml.
I have played 500 hours of BL2 and still haven't found any of them or knew they existed. Yet, I wasn't exclusively farming for a single item for hours.
I got a Quasar from the Ancient Dragons. both fire bee and bouncing bonny from loot midget farming. Update: I got another two one from pyro Pete and one from Marcus Train

Actually before DLC2 Unkempt was the hardest to get to drop because it's loot pools were literally broken, once DLC2 came out ok we had a working loot pool to just buy the damn thing but before was a nightmare
that feeling when pre dlc you killed Scorch 500 times for a hellfire and only killed savage lee 5 times for a herald.
Rest his soul yoteslay was not joking about the crap drop rate.
I've been very fortunate with the quasar, as the times I've gotten them were from world drops. Never seen a perfect one though
I love coming back to this video every now and then to boost my morale :D I was farming for perfect hide for weeks on my psycho back in the day and then my gf got it on her like 3rd terra kill.
The only use for bouncing bonny is getting a low level slag one with 0 fuse time for raid bosses but you can get the crossfire from the torque dlc instead with 1 second (it's bugged on console and is actually 0 fuse)

Yep I didn't get quasar from ultimate bad as vardquid yesterday but I get one from midget. Question is a normal find a bee in lockers in wildlife exploitation.
not really but technically all base game legendaries can be looted from everything just the drop rates out of certain pools can be worse then trying to farm OP8 cobra with lvl 15 before patch

Randomly got a Lyudmila from bnkr which I didn't even know was possible and a twister on only my 3rd or 4th try. God must have been watching me or something
