Adore the comment about nice, juicy armored unit. I did my time on tanks with the 1st Cav and yeah, when the heat started to rise we were pretty juicy!
Well, you're wrong about the desperation defense I'm afraid. Desperation Defense (10.3) is only used if the retreat would cause elimination, which is not the case here. As you said, the dot result means no Determined Defense is allowed and the conditions for Desperation Defense are not met. Ergo the 5-7-4 retreats three hexes and is disrupted.
Seems like you’re throwing away a lot of German defense strength for no apparent gain with those determined defenses. I usually save them only for hard points like cities where a success will be repaid with doubled defense for the next attack.
I never claimed I was smart :) My thinking is that as soon as the Soviets get a decent breakthrough the Germans will have to fall back hard, so I want to delay that as much as possible, even if it means taking some losses at delaying the Soviets. Might not be a good path...
Holding box is fine. Just pan over there once in a while to remind us what’s in there. Keep up the good fight!
This is best playthrough I've seen in a long time
Little late here, but reminds me why i think this is best of Simonitch zoc bond series game. Goes right into action with lines formed
This goes well with Dad vs Sons play of Stalingrad 42 running concurrently. Thank you for the playthrough.
Ya I've been watching that. He puts out videos so fast!

How DARE you post a video blurry for a short time! JK. Thanks for doing these. Wish you had the time to do it more my friend!
Great playthrough again
We who are not blessed with infinite tablespace ask when is next episode coming?
It's been a long time I know but it's still set up on my table. Likely soon.
Where is turn 5? I love this series, but it seems you never continued it further. Are you going to continue them? I would really like that!
It's coming :)
@@CounterAttack Yes!! You are back!! I am looking forward to Turn 5 of this great series!
love the lips smaking at the end of most sentence hahahaha
Oh man it is so annoying. No matter how hard I try I say "um" and smack lips. Some weird nervous tick that I don't have in conversation.
@@CounterAttack Don't sweat it dude. I kinda like it; it signals the end of the sentence. A verbal full stop.
"Garbage Guy" ? Never heard a player call one of his units that, lol.
I guess I mean "something I'm ok throwing away" :)

Oh I totally misread that then. Thanks for the clarification.
