As soon as they found out it wasn't in Rob's dictionary, I was expecting Greg Davies to storm out and yell at them to not question Susie' authority! 😂
My favourite part is at 1:21
Rob - "Where did he tickle you"
Susie - "On the landing"
Rob looks at Lee, probably thinking "Should I make THAT joke?"
Lee nods "No, just let it slide."
Must've been sooo tempting though
i didnt get it, what body part is it...?
I would have done it
Can someone please explain?
Mario Kart Is Awesome!! Inappropriate area
“We called it rough-housing” “that’s like where I used to live” 0:40 love it 😂😂
"Oh I forgot, you do the words, not the maths"
I've seen so many clips of Susie and I just adore her but this something wonderful about Lee and Susie interacting together. Her mastery of words and Lee's lightning quick wit just works amazing.
I'd like to offer Susie Dent my most enthusiastic contrafibularities for her extensive knowledge of the English language
Contrafibularities? Is that a common word down your way? 😊
BlackAdder springs to mind...
Let's hope that her dad was anaspeptic, phrasmotic, even computuous to have caused her such pericombobulation!
I wonder if she stayed for her pendigestratory interludicule.
I wonder if I might crave your momentary indulgence in order to discharge a, by no means disagreeable, obligation which has over the years become, more or less established practice within government circles as we approach the terminal period of the year, calender of course not financial; in fact, not to put too fine a point on it, week 51; and submit to you, with all appropriate deference, for your consideration at a convenient juncture, a sincere and sanguine expectation, indeed, confidence; indeed one might go so far as to say hope, that the aforementioned period may be, at the end of the day, when all relevant facts have been taken into consideration, susceptible of being deemed to be such as to merit a final verdict of having being, by no means, unsatisfactory in its overall outcome and in the final analysis, to give grounds for being judged, on mature reflection, to have been conducive to generating a degree of gratification which will be seen in retrospect, to have been significantly higher than the general average...
Confirmed: Susie know more words than a dictionary. Love her!
One word: Steadings.
The piece from 1.15. That's beautiful British humour. Suggestive and coy. Susie laughs, cos she knows full well, what could be conceived of the line she'd just said. The quick look Rob gives to his central camera and then, Lee... "Leave it. Not now, Rob". Brilliant.
I understand the double entendre of the word landing but didn't grasp what she implied by it.
@@kaihocompany She meant landing as in the area at the top of the stairs
Does anyone else find Susie a bit bloody attractive?
I find it interesting that quite a few people does, because I think she is the opposite. Of course, taste is subjective. I think she is a great person though, as far as i know from youtube.
Yes. Something about her makes me fancy her over Rachel Riley. Both are incredibly intelligent on Countdown and 8OO10CDC, but her quiet demeanor really makes my motor run. Rachel would be great on a date, but Susie would be grand for a relationship.
She's very sweet & very smart. What's not to like?
Sapiosexual
...hell yes!
Oh yes. Very much so... super hot.. Rachel is lovely, but Susie is legendary... and I can't believe how fab she looks for her age either...
I love the way Rob does Ronnie Corbett.
Lee Mack's 'No, come on' look to Rob at 1:21.
I thought being comics they would go there but Lee showed how to be a gentleman.
Got more attractive TBH
But where would they have gone? We wouldn't embarrass anybody.
I love Susie. Her podcast about words is brilliant.
"It's a small dictionary!"
I don't really like Stacey Solomon, but I have to say that "roughhousing..." "...that's where I used to live" is a very good joke
How can you not love her? She's adorable.
I'm greek and straight away knew she was telling the truth as they are greek words! :P
Umm...no 'gargalesis' and 'knismesis' are not greek words, they're English words based on the greek words 'gargalizein' and 'knismos'. Plus just because they used a foreign word doesn't mean it's immediately the truth lol The English language uses TONS of loan words from other languages.
Isn't the K in knismesis silent though? Or at least it changes the N to more like "gngngn" (but not quite that), you don't say "k'niz"...?
@@AyeYerMa that's exactly what OP meant, he could tell it was true because those words obviously have Greek origin
@@AyeYerMa you literally just said what OP said but you wanted to be the smart ass and just added unnecessary commentary
Lee serves up the Ronnie Corbett opening for Rob like the pro he is. Great chemistry,
1:21 I saw some commetns about they let the tickling joke go away, can someone please explain what they would have said if they didn't
I would have said, "Are you sure it was on the landing, and not on the passageway?"
That was so obviously true!
Stacey does really well here too
Love Susie Dent
She is my perfect woman. Knowledge is what it is.
Is it true that she's the daughter of Arthur Dent and the mathematician and astrophysicist Tricia McMillan?
No, Harvey Dent
A near miss. The mother is actually Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings, the worst poet in the universe.
Tricia is surely Rachel Riley's mother
Stroke of luck, eh?
@@Progressive90 Harvey Dent, can we trust him?
Lol you do the words not the math. Would you like call Rachel for the math lol
Who asked Google or Siri for a definition of gargalesis after this? 🙋♂️
1:20 Not _that_ landing.
I knew it was true, but only because I just googled gargalesis.
Stacy and Susie would be great task master contestants!
I was convinced that was a porky! Well, done, Susie.
stunninglad1 You’ve just spoiled that for me
Sorry about that. I also hate it when people give the game away in the comments. Sorry.
And I just hate it when people complain because they decided to read the comments before or whilst watching.
@@FeyTheBin: agreed. Reading the comments before watching all the video is just asking for trouble. There's always spoilers.
P O R K Y
I would howl if I'd see Susie walking down the street... why is she so attractive? help me help myself
I don't think Susie Dent realizes just how hot she is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Creepy.
Love me some Susie Dent
